Dollar TreeReviews of dollartree.com

I was recently shopping at the dollar tree in Mount Pleasant Iowa. I've shopped there many times before and always had a good experience. Well the other day the store manager and the District manager were publicly berating a sales associate in the office but it was so loud customers could hear. They made that poor girl cry. Afterwards the two managers walked outside together to smoke . They were both smiling and laughing.

I ordered this product on February 28, 2020 and scheduled it to be delivered to a store. The email I received indicated that it would be delivered at the store on March 16, 2020. March 16 came I did not receive any confirmation that it was there. I call the store all day no one answered phone. Called Dollar Tree customer service, they told me the stores were busy stocking I could go by the store. I went to the store the items were not there. The next day I got an email from Green Tree indicating that the shipment had arrived, I went back to the store they told me I was to early the truck had just arrived and they could not get to it. I came back the next day and they check and told me it was not there. I called customer service and they told me the email saying that the product was there does not mean anything, it is just an automatic email. When I asked why they would do that, the customer service person just indicated they would reimburse me. I explained I ordered the items because I needed them that was not what I wanted I wanted the items. Then they told me they were np longer shipping anything because they were shipping things to keep their stores stock. I ask to speak to a supervisor who when I told him my concerns eventually just hung up on me. The next day I got an email indicating that they were reimbursing me because I did not pick the items up in the time period that they give me. All of the confirmations and email from Green tree are lies you cannot count on getting the product you order. When I asked the customer service people why could they just not send me an note saying they wer enot shipping the item instead of sending me false emails. Then the supervisor told me it would be 7-10 days to credit my account. I ask him why it would take so long when I purchased the item it only took a few minutes to debit my credit card that is when he hung up in my face. I was purchasing for my company and learned that I am required to make copies of my tax exempt card for the store in order to take advantage of my privilege. Gwendolyn was embarrassing and loud. she called the manager, Mike and he was rude, telling me if I didn't like it I can leave. I did and will not return. This was in Ocala on Hwy 27 (4361 NW Blitchton Rd).

Their return policy does not make sense. I purchased table covers and more but the party got cancelled due the Coronvirus concern and they asked me to take exchange instead of retrurning my money. This is a special case and there is nothing I need to exchange. People, remember that you can buy table covers and more for cheaper price like 97 censt at walmart and can return if you don't need it. Thanks

Very rude cashiers talking bad with the customers. Not treating the customers with Respect.Location. Rockford, Il on east state street.

Purchased a stapler and went back for staples. They didn’t have any so the cashier Clarissa advised me that I could only exchange. I went for the closest thing to the cashier which were cookies. She asked her manager Veronica if it was ok for me to switch food for the exchange and she said no. If that was the case she should have said this from the beginning. They were rude and showed poor customer service over a item that costed a $1. The return policy doesn’t specify this.

This complaint is about store #4177. From the moment you walk in the store it was a very uncomfortable feeling. The manager that was not wearing a name tag was having personal work related inappropriate conversation with another associate that was very loud and everyone in the store can here. When a customer was ready to check out you could tell that the customer was upset by her experience in the store, she ask the associate if they had any of a certain product, the associate asked the manager and she dismissively just said no when ask when they are going to get more, once again dismissively said I don't know. The customer was very wrong and called her out of name, but to be quite honest I was thinking it too,but I wouldn't say it. She told the lady to leave and as she was gathering her things and child to leave, she just kept yelling to leave and don't forget your child. Well now that just made everything worst because now the conversation was about she was ready to fight the customer. So when it was my turn to check out. I kindly ask for the corporate number the associate ask me why, I said I had my own reasons she then called the manager, she ask why and just said I needed the number well she conveniently did not know the number. So I said to her if I could suggest something to her in private, she said no you could say it right here very loudly. I told her that the customer was out of line, but that it was not without provocation. Her reply was again very loud that is the way she is and that she is not going to apologise for the way she talks and what she talks about in the workplace. Just because it's a dollar tree it is not a reason behave in that manner. This manager need to take course on workplace environment and customer services.
