I love using DogVacay; we started researching costs for our own trip to Europe and decided to begin hosting. We ended up paying for the majority of our trip just from the side money we earned hosting other dogs. Along the way, we've met some great clients who are now friends. There are other services that work similarly, but DogVacay has consistently brought us more business and is a very helpful website for managing the bookings. The two suggestions for improvement I would give are 1- allow hosts to set prices for individual days (which they are working on now!) and 2- provide more helpful information about handling the taxes associated with taking on a small business. It was difficult the first year, given that we didn't receive any documentation from DogVacay, but I understand that they're not in a position to give tax advice. Still, I wonder if there is any middle ground that would ease the burden on people like us who are just doing this in our spare time. Overall, highly recommend. Love the company, love the concept, and will have recommended to many other friends (who are now sitters!)

I have had questions many times, and have always left feeling satisfied after contact. Staff is very helpful in all aspects including care of the doggies. Their number one priority is the welfare of the dog and I respect that. Super company to be a part of, it changed my life!

The money grab is getting out of control. I understand if you need to charge clients a service fee, that's fine, but 5 to 9% is crazy. Why not a simple .99 cent per booking fee. You are killing our bookings. Also, the "Premium Host" is going to backfire. You are pretending that theses are qualified hosts because they are willing to pay a little more to you. The clients that use them are not stupid. They will end up with a unqualified host and wont use dogvacay again after there sub-par experience with a rookie that has little to zero knowledge or experience.

The support and setup of Dog Vacay is just perfect! I get to meet so many awesome dog owners, and hang out with sweet dogs, without the long term commitment. This is perfect at this time in my life and I really appreciate their system!

I have had nothing but positive support from the many Concierges that I had to good fortunate to deal with. They are personal (very important to me) and highly knowledgeable when helping me deal with an array of issues to better ensure the comfort of our many guest and their owners. I only started with DogVacay in January 2015 and I never anticipated the business that would come my way. DogVacay marketing of my site and the continue support is so very much appreciated.

The best boarding and petsitting in the world. Our beloved dogs will be felt right into the pack. There is no doubt that dogvacay it was a good invention. I would choose to dogvacay always.
