Dogvacay deserves A+ for best customer support system. I have never had a problem that couldn't be resolved, payment that wasn't paid ON Time, Absolutely love doing business with DogVacay!!

I am a sitter with DogVacay and have truly enjoyed being able to set my own dates of availability and rates for clients. I have been thoroughly impressed with how busy I have been and the great people and pups I have met! These are great factors when considering whether to be a sitter. There are also a few factors that aren't as great but need to be mentioned. There are fees associated with this work - DogVacay takes a whopping 15% of your charges from you as their usage fee. Once you take out another 30+% to cover your paying taxes, etc., that doesn't leave much for income. I personally think this fee is high and it should only be 10%. Additionally, they provide an insurance policy for clients, but make sure you read the fine print. While the dogs you board are covered and that is wonderful, lots of things (and people) are not. Be careful that you fully educate yourself so you know what is and is not covered. Ultimately, it is a business and must be run as such. While there are pros and cons to all work, I do recommend DogVacay.

As a host for DogVacay, I can confidently say that leaving your dog with a host is just about as close to leaving them home as possible. We all have a special love of dogs, our own and other peoples too. We treat them with love, respect, compassion and care. I personally welcome guest dogs and make them feel as cared for as my own dogs. I spoil them with attention, exercise, and play, just like I do my own dogs. It's great for people who love their dogs, and want the best for them.

It's so easy to ask a question or sort out a problem with Dogvacay. They are just a phone call away. That make me feel secure and calm if I have a problem to solve.

DogVacay is an amazing company! We used their site to find a sitter for our dog and then we become hosts shortly thereafter. As a stay at home mom it's a great way to earn extra money from home. I've been impressed with how professional DogVacay's website and customer support has been. Every time I've needed to contact customer support they've been very kind and quick to take care of my needs. DogVacay provides a much needed service for pet owners! And likewise, provides a great service for their hosts. Having access to their professional website is great for business!

Pros: reliable messaging (sends photos with little fail) beautiful dashboard setup scheme. Its clean, has everything you want to see right there and is such a blessing. The customers we do get are fantastic! okay insurance for dogs (still numerous loop holes) WONDERFUL and personal customer service, one of the best ever!!! customer service on the phone is a dream come true!!!!!@!!!!! Phone app are reliable, easy to navigate, simple and clean and has all what you need. Cons: Clunky messaging system that gets excessively messy and confusing for both customers and pet sitters to the point people have left to use other sites instead. You are unable to send pictures through desktop which limits use of using other devices for taking pictures and if your cellphone gets no service or has issues, you are out of options. Unable to retrieve pictures from desktop if you want to go back and save your own pictures. There is a limit to how many dogs you can sit and is not ideal for people who dog sit for a business. The phone app is very one sided to iphones in terms of quality. Search tools are limited and hard to filter out what you want you're always logged out and have to log back in Gives limits to photo uploads on profiles strict rules and unforgiving percentiles Over all Dogvacay is much much much better than other competitors but not the best. What DogVacay does right, they do with flying colours. However there are still many things they need to work on to get a efficient site.

Have been a host with Dog Vacay since perhaps March 2013 and have experienced the growth of the company along with my own growth as one of their hosts. Have the advantage of having worked over ten thousand hours as a professional dog trainer with a large corporation and have also, for many years assisted the local rescue community with their dog related issues, which gives a unique perspective and skill set. My sense of the Dog Vacay team is that of passion and commitment to both their clients and their hosts. As a former corporate manager, I truly appreciate their level of professionalism and dedication to their mission.

Their attention to detail and stellar support is second to none, and makes me feel like they are always in my corner.
