I'm so glad this service exists! My dog absolutely loves her sitter. It's great knowing she's in someone's home, playing with only their dog and sometimes one other. For newbies, I recommend being picky. Do the meet and greet and ask the questions you have. We went to 2 other sitters before we landed on this one and it's been fantastic. Wendy is so excited to see them every week.

At first I thought there were many hosts in my area but as I read their requirements or availability the number quickly dwindled, however I do have two dogs so one might be easier to place. It was time consuming to read through each profile, message them, get a response (some take a week to respond), coordinate a meet and greet and then visit the pet-sitter. We met with three, spoke with approx 7 initially, but some pet-sitters would not respond again after the initial communication. We were very happy with our experience - we have booked one time, but this person is far and if we can find someone closer to watch our dogs in our home that really is our preference. I also didn't think the website interface was particularly user friendly, it was terrible on my iPad which I primarily use at home even using the app.
