I had never heard of DogVacay before being recommended by a friend who had used it. Our dog had never been left with anyone except family and we were extremely nervous about entrusting him to an 'outsider' for almost a week. On the website, we were able to view a good number of people right in our area, see pictures of the environment in which he would stay, and read reviews on each sitter from other families. I set up a 'meet and greet' at the home of the person we ultimately ended up booking, and everything went very well. She sent photos and texts while we were away, and we returned home to a healthy, happy, well-cared for boy. DogVacay is a wonderful service for pet parents, and I give them my strongest recommendation.

I had no problem having request for my dog to stay with them. It was so nice to be able to choose what person or family i thought my dog would be happiest with. We were so happy he was happy an well taken care of. So much better than a pet hotel.

Was great finding a sitter who provided a safe,caring home enviroment. Meeting 2 times before a drop off is so benificial for a smooth departure when needing for a few nights.

Finding a good place to board a large dog with high energy needs can be difficult. We were worried about her staying in a kennel too long and not getting enough play. Dogvay gave us multiple options in our area for boarding and daycare. We were able to find a highly recommended boarder that could keep her for a week. Scheduling and payment was easy. Plus, the care of your pup is really shown with the in depth vacation questionnaire, so your boarder has all the info! We will continue to use dogvay forever!

Our Scooby stayed with Tammy and came home quite happy and relaxed. Have recommended to several others. Tammy's house, yard and lifestyle are specially geared to her guests. Scooby adores her.
