I usually board my dog at one particular kennel but they were booked for an unexpected trip. Desperate, I went to google and came across Dogvacay. I chose a family and scheduled a meet and greet. All went well and I dropped him off a few days later. The flow of pics and updates kept me at ease. He was happy and well cared for. Try it, you'll like it!

I had a great experience using Dogvacay.com. Found the most amazing dog sitter for my pup. She update me everyday with pictures and videos. Couldn't have asked for a more friendly loving person to take care of Mikey. Can't wait to use this service again.

Kirk and Anita took my 4 month old puppy for the weekend. They texted me pictures as time went by. We could see his happiness and fit right in the the other dogs, having fun playing, running around,looking like a family member. I would send him no other place but with Uncle Kirk and Aunt Anita. The fact that he was a puppy in training, we were more comfortable sending him there with experienced dog lovers than have a family member come to our home. Wonderful stay and a happy puppy!!

I was disappointed to learn that the dog-sitter doesn't get the entire amount of the rate quoted. I know there are costs to running a business - but I felt like this should be more prominently disclosed. I probably won't use this service again.

Quality hosts and flexible drop off and pick up options have made going out of town so much easier. Also love the pics of our baby enjoying his vacation!

A traditional kennel was not going to work for me. I would not have been able to take our trip had it not been for DogVacay.

Dogvacay has been very easy to use and takes out the work of setting up and marketing your own business. My biggest complaint is that they take out 15% (reasonable since they make it so easy for you to set it up) but just recently started charging hosts an extra 7%. To me it is just an extra way of making money when they are already making a lot of money taking the 15% cut and seems chintzy. I think Dogvacay should manage their 15% cut better so they don't need to just keep taking more for hosts and guests.
