I was searching for an alternative to a boarding facility for my recently adopted rescue dog and DogVacay was recommended by a neighbor. DogVacay is easy to use, the app is terrific and I loved the set-up of the profile to store my pet's information and the ability to get messages and pictures directly to my phone. The hosts are screened and I found my dog's next "best friend". :) HIGHLY recommend!

We were in need of a someone trustworthy to watch our dog for a week while we went away. We didn't want to send her to a kennel. We wanted her to stay in someone's home. We discovered DogVacay online, and were happy to see there were pet sitters in our area. We found a woman who lived about 2 minutes away. She was easy to get a hold of, and responded to our requests quickly. I loved being able to pay using a credit card (as opposed to cash) and I was able to get a $20 promo discount as a first time user. When the promo wasn't applied correctly, I called DogVacy for support and the lady on the phone was extremely helpful and resolved the matter within seconds. A great experience. The ONLY downside I found was that you can't really modify your travel dates once you are booked.

I treat this just as I would a regular babysitter ! Having this service prescreen and recommend qualified sitters at a very reasonable rate is simply fantastic. I also seemed to socialize our Lucie ( our poodle ) with others .The services were simple and quick..... we give you 5 stars DogVacay !
