We purchased a dogtra e fence system. Within months the one collar stopped working. After calling about warranty they told us we had to pay for shipping both ways and it could be months for us to get it back. We used dogtra.ca seeing how it said it was the canadian side and apparently that's not true and they are an absolute lying, thieving company. There is no canadian dogtra. Absolute horrible company, will never buy another product of theirs.

Dogtra sent me a defective transmitter which they made me pay shipping to receive and shipping to return. Proof of receipt thru tracking but they only process refunds every other Friday. Funny, they charged my credit card a week before they shipped it but don't process refunds when they get it back.

Terrible terrible customer service and product quality. The collar is made to barely outlast the one year warranty provided. Once you call customer service you’ll receive the most unprofessional and apathetic responses you can think of while blaming you for what happened to the collar. A customer service representative advised me to purchases an antenna for range issues and the issue with the collar persisted. Not only will you pay a crap ton for shipping, they won’t cover the shipping costs due to their incorrect suggestions. Other options are to send it in for a couple of weeks, they will charge you shipping and labor plus the batteries which will cost you about $90 additionally. Will never deal this company again and their products.

bonjour suite a une panne d'émetteur 2500TB ,j'ai contacté Dogtra France , pour l'éventuelle réparation , on me demande de tout envoyer , émetteur récepteur , je confirme que seul l'émetteur est en cause (carte électronique ) je reçois un devis de de 243.05€ avec changement de la carte électronique de l'émetteur ( 54.17€ ce qui est logique ) par contre il y a changement du haut parleur du récepteur , des 2 batteries , et du boitier de la télécommande ( le haut parleur du récepteur fonctionne, les batteries tiennent tres bien la charge ) alors pourquoi ?

I have to say that I am truly amazed with the dogtra pathfinder. My whole life I always used tri tronics for my training collars. Then when the GPS tracking system hit the market I always used garmin. I am one that if I use something that works I won't use anything else! A good friend of mine (kodey @ kentucky cooner on YouTube) kept telling me how great of a system the pathfinder was and told me to just give it a chance. After thinking on it quite a bit I came to the conclusion that it must be pretty good because he always used garmin also until he used this. Now he only uses and recommends the dogtra pathfinder. After getting aggervatted at the maps on the garmin I decided to give it a shot myself because I couldn't believe how amazing and clear the maps are on the pathfinder. After getting it and using it to see if it was what he said I was absolutely thankful that he got me to try it. I was honestly blown away! Needless to say I sold my garmin and havnt looked back. I am now very happy to say that I am a firm believer and user of the dogtra pathfinder! Wouldn't recommend anything else for a houndsman. Best decision I ever made. Not only was the maps 10 times better but I live and hunt in some of the steepest and roughest terrain out there. My pathfinder keeps signal on my hounds in the places that the garmin would keep cutting in and out or just lose signal all together. Thank you dogtra for putting such a great system out there for us hunters!

i just purchased the iQ PLUS... straight out of the box it seemed like a nice fit to my hand... there is def 2 things i'd change to improve your product... 1) why did you have to make it so the transmitter and collar need to be together to turn it on and off... i feel this is a nuisance... 2) the rheostat dial is def a deal breaker for me... i tried setting it at a certain number and look down ,the dial changed... this is every time... let's say my dog decides to run after a rabbit, i hit him with the nick button... he yelps extremely loud and i look down the rheostat went from 12 to 46... i wish i'd seen this product in a store before i purchased it on line... def would have bought another collar... i'm not by any means saying dogtra is a poor product... i think you strike out on this collar... i'm now stuck with a collar i hate, but can't afford another collar....

Horrible experience with dogtra. Collar was shocking my dog at random when the dog wasn't even by the line. Took the collar off the dog, called dogtra they said they will look at the collar. I would need to pay to ship it to them and pay to get it fixed. Turn around time was going to be 10 days. I have had this unit for less then a year. Thats why i gave 1 star. Have a sport dog collar for training with remote. Way better customer service and Warranty. Pay the extra and go with sport dog.

The collars are one of the best...BUT they get you coming and going.. The battery lasts about 1 year, so I called Dogtra to see if they can help me...the collar is 2 months out of warranty and said they can replace the batteries for me at $25 per battery (I have 2 collars) plus S&H...but if I replace it on my own they Void the warranty on the collary which is 5 years... So I asked how much it would cost for them to replace the battery for me and she said $45 and up...I said for a battery? Per battery plus labor...So to replace the 2 batteries it was going to cost me approx $90 plus s&h...so not only are they one of the highest costing training collars, they rape you to replace a battery every year... I will never do business with this company again.. I will have to buy another training collar but it wont be a Dogtra
