I had difficulty orienting myself and the dog to the positioning on the screen. Mostly due to my age/inexperience. Dogtra would do well to remember that currently their clientele were around before cell phones, etc. Step by step simplification would be most helpful. Accidentally or just by default, my Pathfinder2 did perform for me satisfactorily but not without testing my patience. Mike

The collars are one of the best...BUT they get you coming and going.. The battery lasts about 1 year, so I called Dogtra to see if they can help me...the collar is 2 months out of warranty and said they can replace the batteries for me at $25 per battery (I have 2 collars) plus S&H...but if I replace it on my own they Void the warranty on the collary which is 5 years... So I asked how much it would cost for them to replace the battery for me and she said $45 and up...I said for a battery? Per battery plus labor...So to replace the 2 batteries it was going to cost me approx $90 plus s&h...so not only are they one of the highest costing training collars, they rape you to replace a battery every year... I will never do business with this company again.. I will have to buy another training collar but it wont be a Dogtra

Very good product it just takes a long time to receive it.

Took six long days for first class mail small padded envelope to travel (within California) from Torrance to our home near SF.

I love the product, but it seems like one major feature is missing that makes me default back to my 2700TB. Namely, why can't we send a beep or stimulation signal from the GPS Connector. Most of the time, you don't need to look at your phone to figure out where your dog is. When you do, you can pull out your phone from your pocket. But you more frequently need to send a signal to your dog. To do so, you need to pull out your phone, turn the screen on (enter a password typically) and then use the app to send a signal. Two additional buttons on the GPS Connector would solve that problem.

Dont stand behind there product. The charging cables are poor. Hardware is good quality. Problems trying to replace faulty parts.

I also bought the 282c to correct barking. It has worked not bad.
