Hi, We understand this situation felt sudden, especially given your earlier positive experience with us. However, the actions taken were not arbitrary. The account was flagged for self-transactions, which are not permitted under the card network and compliance rules, regardless of intent. When such activity is identified, we are required to immediately stop processing and reverse recent transactions; this isn’t a discretionary decision. We did communicate this via email, and this is a standard requirement followed by all payment providers operating under similar frameworks. We genuinely value our merchants, but we also have to operate within strict compliance boundaries. The outcome here was driven by policy requirements, not a change in how we support our users. Your account remains open for any compliant use cases. Team Dodo Payments

Hi, We’re sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback. As a global Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments operates under strict compliance, risk, and regulatory requirements. From time to time, this means our team may need to ask follow-up questions or take certain actions to ensure everything is handled correctly. We do this to look after our customers, our merchant community, and the overall integrity of the platform. We understand this may not be the outcome you were hoping for, but we need to ensure all merchants meet our compliance and risk guidelines. However, please note that we’d be glad to support any other ventures that align with our policies. We’re always here to help you launch the next one. Warm regards, Team Dodo Payments

Hi, We understand your frustration, and we have already provided you with detailed information with respect to your activity on our platform that caused us to close your account. To reiterate, this was because you were in explicit violation of our policies. This included attempted sales for precious metals and hardware products, which are not allowed through our platform. We’ve communicated the reasoning and process to you in full, and there isn’t any further action we can take on this. We understand this may not be the outcome you were hoping for, but we need to ensure all merchants meet our compliance and risk guidelines. We take these actions to protect our customers, our merchants, and the overall safety of the platform. Team Dodo Payments
