They refused to honor service on their own tires by saying they were too old and needed to be replaced. The tires were in great shape and were perfectly serviceable.

Location: 4918 Louetta, Spring, TX 77379 I pulled into Discount Tire with my front right tire at PSI of 9. I had just put air in tire (PSI 34) to make it to Discount Tire about a mile away. Christopher met me in parking lot and got my tire information. As we walked into store I told him I had two hours before I picked up my daughter to then drive to Willis to join my grandson and his parents to go to his high school graduation. Christopher was exceedingly patient as I got my Affirm information in to pay for four tires. He was gracious and patient. I will go to no other place from now on for tires. Thank you Christopher for your excellent service.

I used to have nothing but positive reviews about Discount Tire in Lake Worth. After today's visit, not so. I was previously in the alignment business for 42 years. My visit today was for a tire rotation and wheel balance only. As I was sitting in the waiting room I witnessed 9 Hard sell jobs on unwitting customers. That would be about 75-80% of the people walking through the door. Most didn't escape. Many gave in. Four, including myself were for worn out lug nuts, for a mere $79. I was actually double teamed. Two were for outer tie rod ends. Most folks got the wheel alignment speel. One sales point was for 'unsafe shock absorbers causing tire wear. NOT! My lug nuts miraculously were able to be reused, and my wheels haven't fallen off yet. Other than that, it was a pleasant visit.

My experience with Discount Tire In San Angelo Tx. I retired from Goodyear Proving grounds so I know tire & wheels and specs. Not to downsize Discount but my experience with them in my home town. I purchased set a tires for my truck and boat on top of that my grandson also bought a set of tires for his truck. Not cheap. Anyway my concern is when they say your vehicle is ready. Not one manager went out an inspect that job was done accordingly to inspect. Hiring young kids to know what to torque a lug nut too. I had a missing lug nut on the driver side. Grandson was missing lug nuts also. I had loose nuts on my boats. Should have a manager oversea the wheels going back on. Every vehicle have a different spec of torque on the wheels. I return back to my shop an torque them to spec. Need more training on these guys. Could save a life of a wheel coming off.

I don't understand how this company remains in business... Their very existence is based on the number of sales they make however, the people who are supposed to be installing tires spend at least 30% of their time playing around with each other rather than installing tires that have been paid for. I witnessed 3 open bays empty while employees were standing around talking/laughing while customers waited for their paid tires to be installed... Sometimes "discount" is a bad idea. Sometimes paying a little extra is better than watching several young guys standing around talking about the upcoming weekend.. The majority of reviews for this business are 1 star, and plenty negativity... I'll be going somewhere else for tires.. I may pay more but in the long run the extra $$$ per tire will be worth it...

I wanted to buy a tire for my SUV. They said they had to.order on in I told them I wanted a relatively newly manufactured tire as tires degrade after six years. They brought in a tire that was THREE YEARS OLD and got ANGRY with me for not taking the tire.DEFECTIVE TIRES!

Coral Ridge Mall location, I had gotten online and ordered 2 new tires and made an appointment at the Coralville, Iowa. Only got 2 tires so that way I could have my tires rotated in the future and so I wouldn’t have to buy for( my husband checked and said the back 2 where still good) so I get to the location and the guy had me come out and to look at the tires with him and he proceeded to tell me that I needed new tires on the back too, I told him No, then went back inside to waiting room. The guy proceeded to hound me about purchasing the other 2 tires in front of your other customers (and just to let you know that 3 potential customers who came in during the hounding left, so you actually lost 3 customers that day). I kept on telling him NO about 6 times but I ended up buying the 2 tires because I do drive a long ways for work( I also was kind of afraid that he did something 2 other 2 tires the way he was speaking to me). My husband was not happy the way I was treated. I felt like I was targeted because I was a woman too. So WOMEN BEWARE!! I would not even give you one star because none of your other employees would even interrupt him to tell him to stop l even asked for a Manager and was told he wasn’t there at that time. WOMEN BEWARE!! It’s been around a year, I’ve been busy but just was thinking about it the other day and I needed to warn people especially women. Customers should never have to be hounded like that. Shame on you!

We stopped in today at i35 round rock location to get tires on our 5th wheel. We ordered them to the store ahead of time and got a better price than we found anywhere else. I know Saturdays are busy but it was the day we were moving and able to come through. Cameron was an absolute rockstar planning to have a spot for us to pull in and get it done. Cory was amazing and everything went smoothly. Three cheers for these guys!! We are back on the road and ready for our next adventure.
