I decided to switch to Direct TV let me tell you the guy I talked to was so nice. He walked me through the whole process was never pushy and understood everything I needed I would recommend Direct TV I had been paying attention to the commercials Dish puts out but they are wrong I think I should have changed a long time ago Thanks again

I too was excited to get away from the stronghold arm of Comcast. I had direct tv until the summer of 2014, when I got rid of it temporarily because I don't watch tv during the summer. The only thing I really use Direct tv for is football. I had always had a decent sized bill, nothing overly outrageous, but today I went to pay my bill and it had gone up significantly. I asked the person at direct tv why and she couldn't really answer my question, she said it was a difference in receivers, there was a more expensive receiver and a cheaper receier. It seemd that i had the more expensive receiver. Knowing that I don't watch much tv to begin with, I asked what the difference was. She honestly couldn't tell me aside from the price difference. I asked her to downgrade my package. So, I would lose 45 channels and pay 1.00 a month less than what I am currently paying. This is COMPLETELY unacceptable. Direct tv no longer has the long arm that it used to on cable. It's not nearly as competitive as it once was and they have horrible customer service skills. Don't bother asking if there's a place where you can make a complaint. They direct you back to their website where the complaint will be lost with the other 9 million complaints that come in on a daily basis.My contract ends on November 1, 2014 and I WILL be canceling my service with Direct tv.

I was excited to get away from Comcast and go with a company that actually backs their word and has better customer service. Well I was WRONG! I just spent over an hour on the phone and then I was hung up on. I have had my service for less than a month too. :( Upon booking they will make you all these promises that they will not fulfill (also known as lying) Tell you a rate, a contract timeline, a trial period and when you call for your first bill payment you will learn all these things they told you upon booking your service were not true. This to me is unacceptable, unethical, and just bad business. I called tonight to cancel within my trial period since my rate will double at the second year of my contract (apparently) and the trial "doesn't exist" and I get a big fat "too bad for you, sorry about your luck" I for one will NOT be signing another contract in the future with them and I will do my part to spread the word to future consumers about the games they play. It's just sad honestly, and incredibly disappointing. Bottom line....if you think you are getting a good deal, you aren't. Save yourself a lot of headaches and heartaches and just say NO!!!

I really like direct TV. They hooked it up fast, I have an excellent signal. They answered all my questions and showed me how to work everything. It's super easy.

Great equipment and video stream. I kind of glad we experimented with other providers so we can see the difference. Very happy with DirecTV.

Couldn't of asked for a better experience and a walk through by the young lady that signed me up. Excited to make the change to Direct from Dish Network. We have been with Dish Network for over 23 years very dissatisfied with their loyalty to long term customers. Hopefully this is a good transition for our family..

They really helped me out with making things easier for my house hold It's sort if a change in my life and I'm less stressful now ... Love the prices I came up with speaking to them and I have to credit Verizon for letting us get the opportunity to try direct tv out. With all said and done I'm ready for the experience! Thank you

I called Directv to get some prices and info as to what they offered, I was connected to a Live person ! Yaa. , my advisor explained the package I was interested in and how the whole system works. Within minutes, with all my questions answered i decided that Directv was the way to go for my family. We have been so disgusted with our local cable provider and have high hopes that will not be the case with Directv. My advisor was awesome, personable and didn't get upset when I kept asking questions. She was a pleasure.
