I have had Directv for a year and a half and after my year my bill would go up about 30 to 40 dollars every other month. I have one Tv and I am paying $165 when my initial bill was $55 after the first year it was not worth it. I was told a supervisor would contact me about the bill increase two weeks ago and they have done nothing about it. All I have had is a terrible expirence. I would not recommend this to anyone

Took 5 times to get direct tv set in them they told me I couldn't use my card cause it wasn't a commercial bank good thing I checked cause it took 100 bucks off my card..hot me feeling skeptical now tried asking on if u signed up for direct tv u could get 150 dollar visa card nobody got back with me on that I'm totally new haven't had cable un over 10 years experience trying to set direct tv not good...

I have had Direct since 11/23, it snowed yesterday & I have no channels due to error 771. I called Direct, got transferred to tech support & was on a very long hold, so I hung up. Today we have no snow coming down & I still have no tv. I specifically asked the rep when I ordered direct, when it storms (snow or rain) will my tv go out, he said no because we have more satillites. Well, he lied just to get the sale, I am extremely unhappy thus far and I am sure I will be cancelling Direct in the very near future.

The person I talked to was only interested in selling something/anything. I asked for Internet service, cell phone and unlimited data. 220 channels. And faster than basic 6. Not what I want at all. I scheduled install for Friday the 25th to have time to review all things. It has already been changed to Wednesday the 23rd. I'm scheduled to get home phone(don't even have one) slower internet and who knows what else. You should be more interested in pleasing the customer and not just selling unwanted services.

At the time of purchasing your product.your rep mention: Internet included, $200.00 in 60 days, all this will be bundled. Now I get no bundle, must be satisfied with $100.00. I will not do business with Direct TV again

You all need to get English Speaking Associates. Had a hard time understanding the first foreign guy so I hung up and called back and got a foreign lady. All I can say is that I seriously hope that I don't have any issues with my service to where I have to call again.

After switching I did end up getting more channels that I wanted for less money. The DISSAPOINTING part was that the few things the salesperson was very misleading turned out to be pretty big issues. I asked her several times about satellite signal disruption and she reassured me that I had a good line of sight and that I should only experience disruption during very severe weather. She explained that the technology now is better than the older technology where people were not able to watch TV when it rained. Unfortunately, in my experience, that was a total lie. Every time it rains more than a very light sprinkle I totally lose service. Also there's no reimbursement for outage periods. She told me that the DVR would hold 800 hours. What she failed to mention was that it was 800 hours worth of normal resolution tv and only 200 of HD tv. My biggest concern was having a reliable signal. The signal is NOT what I would classify as "reliable." Since I switched last month I've lost service at least 7 times due to weather. Sometimes it's only out for 10 to 15 minutes and sometimes it's out for up to an hour and a half.

Direct TV representative was very helpful but did not have all information on partner company for Internet service provider, Frontier. When connected to Frontier, associate was rude, wanted to know what service I wanted after I had gone over all of that with Direct TV, then said that Direct TV misinformed me about service cost, added an additional $10 to monthly charge & was going to add $80 service fee that was not mentioned until he was going very quickly through the terms. When questioned cost, lost phone connection, suspect sales associate hung up. I called Direct TV back & cancelled entire order. Poor choice of partner for local Internet service.
