I've never used Hearing aids before. I'm a music lover with high frequency hearing loss, and decided to purchase the highly regarded Widex Moment SmartRIC hearing aids that most musicians seem to prefer for their accuracy and sound quality. Instead of the $7000 cost through the audiologist, I purchased them for a little over 1/3rd that price through Direct Hearing. Consulting with customer service was informative and friendly. After they arrived the hearing aids seem to perform well out of the box - I'm now hearing cymbals, flutes, and violins like when I was much younger! I was surprised and pleased to discover the purchase includes lifetime follow-up care and service which hopefully will fine-tune them to perform even better as time goes by.
