We were invited to a wedding at the Playa Majures resort in Cancun. This was first class all the way with everything in order.

WORST COMPANY EVER! My May 02, 2020 wedding was cancelled on March 26 due to COVID and none of my guests have YET to recieve their refunds. Alison Mull was my speciaist and I regret the day I ever looked into this website. They have destroyed what was suppose to be a beautiful experience. I was told our refund would take 90 days. It has passed 90 days and silence. Only one email sent to my guests because I told Allison to update them, and that was on April 9, nothing after. GIVE US OUR MONEY BACK! -Jannie Diaz

Thank you for reaching out regarding your concerns. Due to COVID-19, the refund processing time from the vendor is delayed as they have received an extremely high volume of requests. We see Alison advised you and your group of what Destination Weddings was informed would be the expected refund turnaround time from this vendor and we apologize that this time frame has elapsed. A member of our Customer Relations Team will reach out to you shortly to further assist with your refund concerns.

We cancelled our trip mid-May and have yet to receive our refund of over $2000 dollars. We have received zero communication with updates from the rep, Sue Allen. In fact, she never even gave a time frame for the refund until I e-mailed her 2 weeks after the cancellation asking for status. It may have been a little less shocking that the turn time for a refund is currently “about 60 days” if she had stated this when we first cancelled. I e-mailed their customer service department this morning, so we’ll see if I hear anything back about our refund status.

We regret to hear of the communication frustrations while working with your Wedding Specialist on your cancellation. Unfortunately due to the impact of COVID-19, the refund processing time is delayed due to an extreme volume of requests. We see a member of our Customer Relations Department has since responded to your inquiry, and is happy to help ensure your refund be processed as soon as possible by escalating your case to our supplier. Please feel free to address any additional concerns with the Customer Relations Department and they will be available to assist further.

DestinationWeddings.com was on point. They were very helpful with our traveling arrangements. From beginning to end they took good care of every detail. They were helpful with booking our room, transportation to and from the airport and resort. The travel consultant was in constant contact with me about every detail. He answered all of our questions. He never left us hanging he was very useful in making our travels to a family members wedding stress free. Trevor was the best. He was an awesome travel consultant.

I attended my cousin's wedding in June 2019. The setting was on the beach in the afternoon. It was so beautiful & romantic. The reception/dinner was held by the pool area which was a very intimate yet fun venue. The food was delicious, the service was amazing; the attention to detail was beyond expectations. The bride & groom were delighted to see their guests so happy. I had planned to return to the same property this year but due to the current pandemic am unable to. I have plans on returning in 2021!
