The resort was beautifully perfect. VIP service was super. The only set back was the food, it all just got redundant after about 3 days. Serving the same ole stuff. Nothing to jump about. Especially the poolside grill. Yikes...not good. Movie type food. Some restaurants as usual weren’t open at times of convenience. However, it seems like that how most All-inclusive resort food Is. The service was exceptional though👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Our wedding was amazing and Destination Weddings made it so easy. Brenda took care off everything for us. She then connected us with a wedding planner at Moon Palace that took great care of us. We never had to lift a finger.

This was the worst experience for one of the most important days of my life. We are planning on getting married in November and my advice is to just work with the resort directly. The wedding specialist I had was Kelly Marchand and she was horrible! I had multiple guests tell me before everything with COVID that they called her and never received a call back. There wasn’t really much guidance on a resort to select to begin with. We almost went with a different resort that we found out had horrible reviews and our wedding specialist said nothing. I would always have to send follow up emails to see what was going on. Complete silence during COVID. I thought at first the company might be waiting to see what’s going on when COVID started rising in the US, but I never received an email. I finally reached out to our wedding specialist in May and was told that even if people don’t feel comfortable traveling that if the resort is open then we can’t even move the date (we are worried about a second wave). There isn’t a back up plan, nothing. After we found that out, we decided to reduce our rooms to be on the safe side. God knows where the money is for that at the moment. I send another follow up email a week later to see the status of the room reduction and get an out of office email. She was in an accident but never put the request in with the resort. The contact for accounts from Kelly’s out of office message was wonderful and very responsive (Cathy Westereng). There wasn’t an extension with the pandemic and the fact that we can’t even travel to Mexico at the moment to reduce the rooms without penalty and it was a disaster trying to get the rooms released. We also discovered that the “group room rate” was significantly more expensive than booking a room directly on the resort’s website. We brought that up to Cathy and we were told that PJC agreed to a price match. My room was still $500 more expensive than the website so we decided to release the rooms for the sake of our guests. On top of that, when I was following up again yesterday Kelly decided to mention that my rooms and wedding were cancelled, when I never wanted to cancel my wedding. When I question it she says the wedding wasn’t cancelled, but we called the resort to confirm. The front desk at our resort (Panama Jacks Cancun) was able to reassure us and is working on fixing everything. I have been in tears from the poor customer service and lack of direction. At least we are done dealing with this terrible company and will finish the remaining pieces directly with the resort

I really felt comfortable with my planner and knew she would guide me to the right decisions for my wedding. I would recommend their services to any bride!

So far everything has been going great with my Wedding planner, had to reschedule my wedding due to a family emergency, my wedding planner Rene Wills was very understanding and she is very quick to answer all my questions!

What an incredible journey I have had with Destination Weddings! Christmas Eve, 2018, I got engaged. Christmas Day I found Destination Weddings from a simple Google search. That same day I was assigned to Charlene Barlow and she has been with me ever since. Charlene went above and beyond in every way possible. I honestly had no idea what I was doing at the beginning. I had a lose idea of what I wanted but no actual clue as to what to do first. Charlene helped me find a hotel, send out save the dates, book all my guests and walk me through everything step-by-step. She was available to me through email, phone and text and always responded quickly to all my questions. I'm sure I was part bridezilla at times as we neared the wedding, which was very close to COVID. I had a lot of guests drop out last minute, but she was super patient with me and understanding. We were VERY lucky to have our wedding in Mexico at The Finest Playa Mujeres on March 6th, 2020. We had a beautiful ceremony and were incredibly fortunate to have a wedding the week before COVID rocked the world. The only problem we had through the process were some billing mix ups; however, these had nothing to do with Charlene and everything worked out fine in the end. Thank you to both Charlene and Destination Weddings! I will be recommending you to anyone looking to have a wedding abroad. Wouldn't change a thing and who knows - maybe I'll be using them again for my 10 year anniversary!
