Patsy was always super helpful, she cleared up any miscommunication and always did her best to help my guests with planning their stay for our wedding! Going through destination weddings has taken a lot off my plate, wedding planning is a lot more work than you would think!

Pam is hands down the best travel agent to ever do it. I spoke with three different agents before finding her, so I can confidently say I know what sets a great agent apart. Not only did she help me find the perfect resort to host all my guests for my destination wedding, but she also secured an amazing deal at a beautiful location. She made the entire process feel smooth and stress-free. Pam is so cool and helpful that even while we were on vacation, my guests were asking when they’d get to meet her lol. That just shows the impact she had on the whole experience. She’s personable, kind, and truly attentive to her clients’ needs. I highly recommend her services and would 100% work with her again. The only thing I’d note is that the company’s website feels a bit outdated and could use a major update (which is why I gave 4 stars), but that’s on the company, not Pam.

From the very beginning our travel agent Karen LaSala made the entire wedding planning process SO EASY for me. She gave me videos and tips on what resorts would be best for our wedding party. She was very quick to gather information needed from the resorts and get back to me right away. We loved the fact that Karen was able to get all of our transportation done for all of our guests that booked through her, that made that part of the trip worry free for everyone going. The only thing keeping us from giving Destination Weddings in general 5 stars was that we wish it was communicated a little more that our guests were allowed to price match and have payment options through Affirm from the beginning. This may have allowed more guests to have enough time to pay to come. The weeks leading up to the wedding Karen was so helpful making sure the last minute details with the resort were ironed out. When we got home from our wedding in Cancun we were surprised with a very thoughtful gift from her. Overall I would highly recommend Destination Weddings to help make your wedding planning nice and easy - where all you have to do is show up and enjoy your big day!

Maggie was a joy to work with! Super helpful and did everything she could to make sure things went smoothly. Very positive experience working with Maggie. Only slightly negative note is I feel the response time of 2-4 days minimum and her being out of office almost every time I reached out was a little frustrating, feel like it was hit or miss getting a prompt response back if I or guests had a question. BUT, I understand Maggie works in the travel industry and she appears to soak up every opportunity to travel, I don’t blame her, haha. If you’re patient, I would 100% recommend working with Maggie! I would suggest she take OFF Royalton Antigua from her list of recommendations for destination weddings. I don’t have many positive things to say about our experience there. Place is a HOT mess. Our wedding photographer the resort provided was lack luster and super controlling and wasn’t open to any ideas I suggested for photos. Ceremony venue was NOT private despite the description and photos, it was in the common pool area and we had people watching and it didn’t feel intimate at ALL. Photos here. Food was absolutely awful, customer service was awful, wait times for drinks at pool bar was unbearable, wait times for restaurants despite having reservations was awful, ended up eating at sports bar almost every night. Scenery is stunning though. Our butlers were the most positive thing, they were great and tried their best to make our stay better. Overall a good experience but I would 100% change things if I could go back in time.

We had the pleasure of working with Amy Boyce as our wedding specialist from Destination Weddings, and she was nothing short of amazing! Initially, we faced challenges with the first coordinator we were assigned, who was difficult to reach and slow to respond. After requesting Amy, who coordinated my brother-in-law’s wedding, both of us worked hard to make it happen despite initial resistance from the company. Amy was attentive, incredibly responsive, and always on top of every detail. She truly made the wedding planning process stress-free and handled everything with patience and professionalism. I can't recommend her enough for anyone planning a destination wedding!
