Six months after installing an 18BTU Della split-air in my Florida 3-car garage, it is working perfectly. I saved about $3k by installing the unit myself. My biggest concern was that I would need to evacuate and fill the refrigerant once the hardware and electrical had been installed. To my amazement after tightening the high and low pressure lines and opening the refrigerant valves the A/C started cooling and has been doing so ever since. Syncing with wi-fi took a couple of tries but eventually I got that working too.

Great unit, super quiet . I have some knowledge of refrigeration and found the installation very easy .Function of unit is great. The options of airflow and heat , fan , cooling are nice.

Great quality and price on Amazon. I got two of these and installed them myself, each was $599/12KBTU units. They are precharged so you can get by with out a vacuum pump if using the line set that comes with it. I used a pump any way just to get the air our and make sure it would be top efficiency. WiFi works great and I have them on a schedule for heat/cool. Heats down under 30F but runs longer of course. I was surprised one on my upper floor does the entire 1220sf space and the unit is only 12KBTU (1Ton). Quiet and easy to clean filter, easy install, low power consuming, each of these draws around 1.9A at 220V which is around 500Watts to heat or cool, not bad Sam!!!!

Didn't last. Did like the features & operation of my portable unit when it ran.. But, it began acting up in just over a year.. First the vents stopped opening, so I couldn't use the timer. Then, the a/c kept stopping. I scrapped it. $300 out the window.. I know any brand is hit & miss, but I didn't have time for warranty fuss, I need cool air to breath ! Thankfully, it was only my extra "3rd" unit for the hall. I just got another brand on Amazon.. Changed to 1 star, all my others lasted years.. Della replied they want more explanation to "help them" make a better product ! What about helping me, lol.. Did they read my review ? I don't have it, I had it taken away.

On the Della 12000 I need to have more info on how to total clean the head, how to take apart the squirrel fan head, and clean. A diagram on how to do it. ( part by part )

The product is amazing. Would be 5 stars if there were a way have the system shut off or 'pause' when a pre-determined temperature is reached. The fan runs regardless of temperature. System is efficient and extremely quiet (next to inaudible)
