It's very difficult to get ahold of anyone in customer service. The chat wouldn't load, and I called 3 times and waited on hold until I had to leave a voicemail. When someone eventually called back, they were nice, but couldn't find any details about my requested order. It's been about 24 hours and I still haven't heard back from him or my normal contact at Wholesale.

The flare fitting on the high side of your lines that failed, and I lost all my Freon in the unit. I had to hire a AC company to repair. Everything else. Worked great wasn’t happy with that.

Two parts to this review, first the good stuff; The mini split works great. I have only run cooling for 30 minutes since I finished the install today. The unit is very quiet. Now the not so good stuff; It should not have taken nearly two weeks to complete a 4 to 6 hour job. One week was lost to damage to the outdoor unit in shipping, not Della's fault. The other week I ended up chasing a problem that actually turned out to be not a problem. I evacuated the system and checked microns of vacuum at 10 and 30 minutes and the vacuum kept climbing stopping around 350 to 400 in at least 8 different attempts to find the slow leak. I ended up disassembling and reassembling refrigerant lines multiple times trying to stop the leak. Also, the torque specification on the flare fittings is way too high. A few times the copper flare was destroyed by the torque on the lines causing me to cut and re-flare the tubes. After several days of not being able to solve the slow leak problem, I contacted tech support. Here I was told that the refrigerant lines should not be shorter than 10 feet, mine were 4 feet, and that this is probably the cause of the vacuum issue. NO Where in the manual does it list 10 feet as a minimum length. I has a nice clean professional installation with 4 foot lines. by changing the lines to 10 feet my installation now looks like it was done by the three Stooges. Very unprofessional and messy. The tech's suggestion was to move the outside unit. Not likely since it's bolted to and through an exterior wall. This should be noted prominently in the directions. Directions need to be clear and complete, yours are neither. Also, I watched the install video several times to confirm that there should not be a change in the micron reading after 30 minutes as demonstrated in the video. In the conversation with tech support I was told that as long as the system is under 500 microns all is OK. I wasted/lost 5 days because of this issue that really wasn't an issue. Another problem, Page 20 of the installation manual shows the inside unit refrigerant tubes individually insulated. A conversation with customer support says that this is unnecessary. It can't be both, clarify what the procedure is rather than offer conflicting information. Generally, the issues I ran into could have and should have easily been avoided and this should have been an easy 4 to 6 hour installation instead of a fiasco of errors. My nice installation is now a mess that I need to figure out how to clean up and my frustration level with Della is very high. While I appreciate the comments from Della, none of this would have happened if Della provided clear, consistent and concise directions. I now have to figure out how to cover, protect and support two 6 foot coils of insulated refrigeration line and attempt to make this look something better than a thrown together amateur installation. Again, spending more money on fixing what should never have happened.

The order was fine and so was the product. My issue was with the rental kit. Reference the email chain I sent to customer support regarding the lack of vacuum pump oil and misleading instructions. There was no corrective action taken on your part.

Customer service itself is fantastic. They respond to chat/email messages in less than 10 minutes. Getting parts has been impossible so far. First i bought 3 units that are all just over a year old with lifetime parts warranty. All 3 units have worked perfectly in the Florida heat, until... 3 weeks ago my bedroom AC stopped working. After some research and diagnostic work i determined it was an outdoor PCB failure. I started a chat with Della on their site. After some discussions and additional diagnostics my diagnosis was confirmed. They checked inventory and said that the PCB was available and said it would ship out in 48 hours. That was over 3 weeks ago. I have contacted them numerous times and they always respond super fast. Each time they apologized and said they would follow up. I have received USPS tracking numbers twice so far but the item never ships, just says that a shipping label has been created but USPS never actually receives the item. I have been told that they would check with a supervisor about alternative solutions, but nothing on that so far. I have asked why part has not shipped if it is confirmed that it is available but that question never gets answered. Last message says they have not heard back from warehouse since Friday and "Please be patient". Over 3 weeks of no AC in my bedroom shows I have been plenty patient so far. I believe customer service has good intentions but something is going on in the warehouse and they are not following through with their promises.

Got wrong product 1st time had to return,then found out parts are no longer available for my model mini split. Was told could get discount if I found information on original purchase in 2022 set information via email never got any discount, brought new system at full price to replace defective one i can't repair

Had units only two years and the freon is no longer allowed by the EPA, which I question as that information is put out long before it becomes law. I feel screwed that I had to buy an entire new mini split because of this and the fact the U joints were leaking freon at the coil so I question their quality as well. I would have give only 1 star if they didn't provide me a 50% discount on the new unit. Hope this unit lasts longer than two years!!! I noticed they posted a response. As usual they BLAME the installer and not their manufacturing issues. The U Joints are attached the coil inside the unit, my HVAC guy had absolutely nothing to do with them leaking where they were soldered to the coil.

I love the mini split. It functions great and installation is very forward and not difficult. I run a handyman fix-it business and had all of the tools to install. My problem with Della is when you go to register your product to take advantage of the warranty, it will not let you register unless it is installed by someone with an HVAC license #. This is somewhat deceptive, especially since their website promotes the simplicity of install and includes videos for DIY installs. So far the mini split is working well. I installed the 12k BTU model in a tiny home that is about 460 sq ft.
