Great experience with a professional doctor and all my questions were answered.

I waited weeks to set up a consult because I requested Janel at the recommendation of my sister who is a patient at Defy. My consult was April 6th. Janel was lovely, kind, and we had a great discussion. My primary request to her was to address my thyroid because I am freezing all of the time and it makes it difficult for me to go out and be active. After the consult, Janel sent her notes to someone to summarize and prepare my medication order. I received it that afternoon and there was nothing about thyroid. I called and spoke to someone who said she would message Janel. I also sent a message asking to speak to her. No reply. The next afternoon, I called again. Janel had not replied to me or the person in the company who messaged her for me. Today is the 8th and I still have heard nothing. I cannot order all of my meds until the thyroid is added or I get charged extra for shipping. And Janel told me some of the bioidentical pharmacies take up to a week before shipping an order. I am frustrated and disappointed. She was lively and knowledgeable, but I should have received a response by now after waiting so long to see HER for my consult and paying so much. I may just change to another company located near me.

he simply gave me the information i needed and was more comprehensive than the hospital i was at taking blood tests every hour, for instance he found out i was anemic they thought i had holes in me somewhere and wanted to open me up and thats just a small portion he saved me from, really classy people im interested to see what my next consultation will be like

Better than marek health. Much more organized. Spoke with the doctor for a full hour. Where as with marek health I got random doctors and at best 15 mins with them while feeling rushed. Unfortunately i haven’t even started my medication but I have to update my review. The lack of customer support is worrying. I have had to email multiple times to get someone to respond and then leave me hanging. I never get replies back. It seems like there is no specific person that manages each patient. I feel like I will be having to deal with going solo on this journey. On the other hand marek health the medical assistant would get back to me within 24 hours everytime. It’s been a week an I haven’t heard from defy medical assistant team yet nor why my order hasn’t shipped in 2 weeks.
