The paperwork needed was straightforward. The consultation with the doctor was easy. Everyone has been polite and professional. No complaints there. My only two complaints are 1) the wait time to get the first appointment and 2) once the doctor approves the prescription you have to wait another 2-3 days to talk with someone else before you can get your prescription filled. I understand that the follow up call may be needed for people who are obtaining injectable medication for the first time. But I’ve had a prescription for 6 years now. The reason I’m coming to this practice is because my old doctor had a serious and sudden medical event that forced his office to close permanently. Follow-up: The response from Defy just goes to show you how nice the staff is. No one gets everything perfect. It’s how you handle things when they are brought up that really matters. I’m happy to be onboard with Defy. I still need to have that conversation. Admittedly I’ve not been available the past couple of days so I will reach out in the morning. But I hope my criticism on the timing doesn’t prevent someone from seeking help with the company. You’ll be in good hands.
