Where to start…this ungodly company in Ottawa went downhill, 700$ in alterations?? One minor let out in wedding dress and two shoulder pinches? 2ladies attended us, a third who had an iPad , all 3 had different prices, dates delivered and dress readiness?? I mean what do they take us for idiots!? Every little questions I asked there was a price tag on it!! My god you people are aweful! Never ever again and absolutely no recommendations.

It's a scam !!! There is a full procedure about how to return a dress, but in reality, it is simply impossible ... I should have red the other reviews on beforehand. Apparently, I'm not the only one. SHAME ON YOU ....

Everyone in the store went out of their way to be helpful. I was looking for 3 different items and when they couldn’t find two of the items in their store they reached out to try to track them down. I was in the Ottawa store at Trainyards and I just want to note that Lisa was exceptional. She really knows the products, made great suggestions and was very customer-oriented.

I placed an order on August 10 for earrings for my September 2 wedding. They were supposed to arrive by August 21, yet as of August 20 the order still says “preparing your order,” has no tracking information, and has never shipped. This is a time-sensitive bridal purchase, and leaving a bride waiting this close to her wedding with no shipment or meaningful update is unacceptable. I now have to spend additional time trying to get a refund and find replacement earrings at the last minute. I would not recommend ordering time-sensitive wedding accessories from David’s Bridal online.

went yesterday. Very unhelpful staff. I went to look at dresses for my wedding and it was HORRIBLE! From the lady who was supposed to be helping me to the sizing. I told the lady my side and she would bring me a size 8 or a size 22 (I’m a size 14). The lady would disappear when I put on dresses and needed help zipped or clipped my bridesmaids were helping me hold up the dresses. The lady told me to put the dresses I was taking off into a pile on the floor in the tiny changing room. After the third dress there was no room to even change so I was hanging them up and my bridesmaids were taking the dresses to put back. I asked for a dress I really wanted to try on & the lady gave a size 22 in the dress in a pink color not even white & when I asked for my size the lady tells me we can order it and if I don’t like it I can exchange the dress for a different one. Uhm no. I want to see it before I buy it. I asked for a similar dress style and the lady handed me the iPad she was gripping the whole time to look on the website instead of having suggestions. My bridesmaids were running to pull dresses for me to try on. The staff was SOOOOO useless! I asked if they had a dress in all white and the lady went on her tablet to check…she couldn’t even zip or clip my dresses with the chip clips they use, because her nails were to long and tells me “ugh I need to get shorter nails for the job”. Then she disappears for five minutes. I ended up leaving early. She never had dresses I told her I wanted to try on ready, they told us to take pictures of tags of dresses and this lady tells us to grab them because she doesn’t know where the dresses are. Like okay do you even work here? Horrible experience. Went to One Fine Day and they were sooooo wonderful. Actually had mirrors in the dressing room with actual room to move. The lady at one fine day would actually zip me up before AND after and helped me switch dresses and made suggestions which i actually bought the dress she suggested! I have no idea I’ve never done this but they do this everyday for a job so I thought they would be more helpful? Maybe I’m crazy for thinking that? My bridesmaids said the chair she was sitting on was wet 🥴 The first 15 minutes we were trying to find the lady who was supposed to be helping me. It felt like more of a game of hide and seek with the staff. This place is shoe carnival for dresses

⭐️ 1 STAR — EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH DAVID’S BRIDAL I am beyond upset and disappointed with my purchase from David’s Bridal. What I chose online looked NOTHING like what I received. The quality is extremely cheap and honestly feels like something you could find at Dollar Tree. This is NOT the quality I remember from David’s Bridal back in the day. I am embarrassed that I even have to wear this. The material, overall quality, and appearance are nowhere near what I expected from a bridal company with David’s Bridal’s reputation. I would have never purchased this if I had seen the actual quality in person beforehand. What makes this even more frustrating is that because the item was on sale, it is non-refundable, so I am stuck with something I am extremely unhappy with and do not feel comfortable wearing. David’s Bridal has seriously gone downhill. I expected much better quality and was completely let down. I will NEVER order from David’s Bridal again, and I would strongly encourage others to think twice before purchasing—especially final-sale.

I ordered four ties and pocket squares. The website told me they were in stock and I would receive them in four business days. That was back on July 11. My wedding was August 1st. I have received half my order. The other half is showing that it’s “still processing.” it is now August 11. It has been one month and I’m still missing two of the four sets that I ordered. I tried the online Help. They said that a “dream maker” would call me . I did that twice , NEVER received a phone call. So then I went to one of their stores. The employee who greeted me first asked me if I was a door dasher with her food order. LOL . I gave her my online order number just to be told that they have no way of seeing my order because it was made online. I’m sorry, but the year is 2026 and the technology is there! There is no excuse. David’s bridal you really need to step your game up. I have a very hard time believing that you don’t have the capability to make your online orders viewable in-store? I can’t even cancel this order because I’ve tried so many times through phone/ in person and I have not gotten any kind of help or response. Nothing has been done. Worst customer service experience I have had in a very long time. It’s honestly a joke and I can see now why my wife wouldn’t even attempt to buy a dress from David’s Bridal.

Dress ordered not going to be delivered before wedding therefore was canceled. Used check debit card. Waiting 3months for a return???? Crazy. Manager unable to help. Called customer service and they are not able to help. Customer service manager called corporate office and she was on hold for an hour. She could not tell me if they have sent check out or not. Horrible customer service. Restocking fee is charged also for a dress not available on time. Report on better business next.
