I have used Darwin‘s for many many years and really like the company and the products I have noticed recently some have added seed oils. I don’t know any reason for animal food to have seed oils or for a seed oil to be added to a raw food for a cat or a dog. Otherwise, I would definitely give Darwin a five star review.

Hi Debby, Thank you for your many years of support and for taking the time to share your feedback. We're grateful to have been part of your pets' lives for so long. We understand your concerns about seed oils and appreciate the opportunity to address them. The sunflower seed oil used in some of our recipes is included as a source of linoleic acid, an essential omega-6 fatty acid that supports healthy skin, coat, and normal skin barrier function in dogs and cats. Because pets cannot produce sufficient amounts of this nutrient on their own, it must be provided through their diet. Veterinary nutrition research has shown that linoleic acid plays an important role in maintaining healthy skin and coat condition. We truly value your feedback and your loyalty over the years. Thank you for choosing Darwin's, and we're glad to know you've otherwise had such a positive experience with our products.
