I have a shepherd husky and two years ago we had to put her best friend down Willow, who was an American Eskimo at 14 years due to cancer. She was severely depressed over the past year and it started to get worse to the point that she wasn't eating for like three or four weeks at a time they gave her meds to help with her appetite and she absolutely refused. I work with somebody who is an animal rescue who recommended your pet food? I didn't order it right away. I kind of waited. I mean I ordered all kinds of different ones and I just donating and giving away hundreds of pounds of dog food because she just wouldn't touch anything not even people rude. I tried to cook for her so about a month later I thought well you know what I'm gonna try. It's another expense but let's give it a shot the first time that I opened it she gobbled it down. I think about just fainted in my kitchen because I was like did she just really eat that cause I hadn't seen this doggy anything in months and I thought for sure she wasn't going to make it and the thought of losing another best friend was not an option. She's been on this for probably about six months now she has lost all the weight that she needed to lose. She is healthy. She is playing she's back to like when she was two or three years old and at this stage she's around six we just got a brand new friend for her a husky and we are going to be using the same dog food for him as well. I cannot thank Darwin enough. You basically saved my best friend. Thank you. Kim sprague

Hi Kimberly, Thank you so much for sharing your story with us. We are deeply sorry for the loss of Willow and can only imagine how difficult it was to see your beloved husky struggle with grief and lose interest in eating. Hearing about her incredible transformation over the past six months truly means the world to us. Knowing that she is healthy, active, enjoying life again, and welcoming a new husky companion into the family is exactly why we do what we do. We don't take your trust in us during such a challenging time for granted. We're honored to have played a small part in helping your best friend regain her happiness and health. Thank you for giving our food a chance and for sharing this heartwarming update. Please give both of your pups some extra love from all of us at Darwin's. Our dogs love Darwin's. We have a picky eater and we know that she will eat Darwin's beef without a fuss. We adopted a 3 1/2 year old dog who had bowel issues. We switched him to Darwin's just because that is what we fed our first dog. After a couple of months we realized that he was no longer having the bowel issue any longer.

Great company. Shipping via UPS still has some hitches. The boxes arrive dented which leads to some thawing of product.
