I was amazed at the great service, communication, and short delivery time. It took 1-2 weeks to get here, but was better than I anticipated, as it was shipped from quite a distance. The dress is gorgeous and my daughter will love it!

Placed my second order with Darkin. The item is outstanding quality again and in my opinion worth the price. The delivery times are a bit long, so leave yourself plenty of time if you need it for a specific event, maybe 3-4 weeks (uk). All my items have been worth the wait. There was a problem with my order at customs, but I was contacted and told about it and It was resolved quickly. 4 stars because their delivery times do need work. Will order again.

I was extremely disappointed, I ordered a beautiful dress for a party and paid for three day expedited shipping... three days passed and it still hadn’t shipped. A week passed and after multiple emails and attempt to make contact I asked them what was up. They said they’d ship it the next day. Next day came and went and nothing... finally the party arrived and it still haddn’t shipped so I asked them to cancel the order. Finally that got through and I’m still waiting for the refund three weeks later. Again I’m really sad cause I LOVED the clothing on the web sight and was hoping to use it in the future

The clothing is good, but the customer service sucks. I ordered 3 jackets and was later told they were back ordered, so I waited. A month went by and I couldn't wait any longer and they asked if I wanted the jacket in black instead, but it had to be brown. So, I asked them to cancel and refund, which they never did. The order came AFTER the event I needed them for and now the company REFUSES to even respond to my emails to try and return the items and I'm out over $400 with jackets I can't use!!! STAY AWAY.

I came about this site looking for quality steampunk clothing. I was tired of the gimmicky costume sites. Im so happy I took the risk and purchased eight different items to start with. I carefully read the size charts and only one item was too big, I've already repurchased in a smaller size because everything I bought was just quality in every way. Fabrics are beautifully done in rich colors and soft velvets and cotton material. Almost everything hung like it was custom fit for my body. I'm so happy w this site and can't wait to fill my closet w more items. Sincerely, Mercer

Dark in Closet is a legit webshop with quality clothes and quick customer support. The clothes arrived only few days after the order and are of very good quality. I needed to exchange a piece because it did not fit me, and the support team was very helpful and responsive to find a solution. Very pleased with the clothes and service.

I give three stars because the dress did not arrive on time but the quality is beautiful, gorgeous heavy fabric and very soft, even the lace is soft. I only wish it had arrived on time for my prom but I was refunded for the trouble. Customer service could have sent it out quicker but they were very understanding.
