If I could give zero stars I would it is the worst pharmacy I have ever used! Every time I go in there’s a problem they have the wrong dates that your prescriptions are due online!
I am going to try to find a better pharmacy and I don’t even care if it cost more because they are that bad! It’s just a matter of a company getting too big we all need to start using small businesses!

I am a recovering opiate addict
I am a recovering opiate addict, and I have been on suboxone for years (I am also on it for pain, since I cannot take fast acting opiates anymore, such as hydro- or oxy-codone). I have a Dr appointment every four weeks, like clockwork, and my Dr sends it over to CVS electronically. As often as not, I am forced to go a day or two without my medication, and the reason is- CVS.
There’s a law that was passed so politicians could appear as if they were actually doing something about the opioid crisis, which provides that a script for any controlled substance cannot be filled “too soon”, not sure if it’s now 28 days, or if it’s 30 days (which would be incredibly stupid, but nobody can be shocked at how stupid the govt is as it passes laws to, again, APPEAR as if they’re doing something). So fine, there’s laws, but it doesn’t explain CVS’ incompetence.
It starts like this:
One month CVS texts me that they are out of stock of my medication. So I can’t pick it up until a day, maybe two days, later, which means, through no fault of my own, I am now forced to wait longer for my meds the next month, because the delay doesn’t go into the system as CVS’ mistake, all they care about is that some junkie isn’t getting his meds “early” (again, I am on ABSTINENCE MEDICATION/OPIOID BLOCKER, which I absolutely NEED, not just to function , but to not wish I was dead, and to be able to walk around and not be in excruciating pain) when I go into withdrawal, it’s solely because CVS is just a screwup organization, but I’m the one who pays for their idiocy/incompetence. Here’s the latest example (which happens to me at least a few Times every year):
On the day my script is sent over to them, CVS texts me that I am “early” (again, THEIR FAULT), so I can’t pick it up for THREE DAYS (from the 5th to the 8th)!! Then, on the day they have told me it will be filled, they text me again (this is copy and pasted from my messages):
“ CVS Pharmacy:
Your Rx for BUP is too soon until Aug 08. Will text when ready.”
THEN ON THE 8th, I get:
“ CVS Pharmacy:
We're placing a special order for Rx BUP. Will text you when ready.”
Today is the 9th, and I am in opiate withdrawal. I have waited the full three days they said I had to wait, but I am still waiting (day 4 and counting). The WD is Just starting, but I still feel crappy. And there’s no guarantee I will have it today, and if I don’t, CVS won’t care, that’s just a fact. They’ll say “check back tomorrow”…I could be back on dope by tomorrow (I’ve been out of meds since Sunday). So thanks yet again, CVS, I hope someday you pay for your incompetence and apathy. But you probably won’t. Because the one thing I am sure CVS makes sure to do - as opposed to customer service - is cover their own azz. I mean, they have KNOW That I need the medication, as the script wiild t have been sent over, and they say I must wait three days - Why the hell is my medication not sitting in a bin for the three days until I can pick it up?!? Or if they are low or out of my meds, why don’t they order it THE DAY MY SCRIPT IS SENT OVER TO THEM?!? Why are they just ordering my meds on my pickup day?!?
I hate CVS with a passion for this idiocy, no exaggeration, I DREAD dealing with them. I suffer for CVS’ incompetence & stupidity.

Easy to refill medications
I haven't had many problems when it comes to the CVS app or website. They make it pretty simple to refill medications online. I wish they had a better online service to keep track of health information though.

Try Walgreen's instead
Scheduled 2nd Covid booster online. Received appt. confirmation email and checked in 15 min prior to appt. Appt location did not have us in their system. After more than 45 mins of up to 3 employees working on "the problem" we are "in" and now waiting for booster shot. Come on CVS, we've been doing this for 2 years now. Get it together.

Terrible and inefficient service
CVS is automated phone system very frustrating and inefficient. It takes 3x as long to get a prescription refill than it should because the system makes assumptions with respect to what is needed and what prescriptions eligible. Terrible. In addition, the pharmacy is very understaffed. Also, medications are on backorder and there is no visibility on when they will be received. None!

Horrible attitude when they make mistakes
Horrible attitude when confronted with their mistakes. Just in the last 2 months, blatant mistakes were made at front retail checkout and UPS check on 4 different occasions and each time, the clerk and/or followup supervisor tried to blame me for their mistakes. When proven wrong, they were passive aggressive, unapologetic and entitled. They acted like they were the customer and I had wronged them. It is clearly a corporate culture that breeds this when it is so pervasive

Our insurance requires us to use CVS
Our insurance requires us to use CVS. What a great deal for CVS I have no choice but to put up with their horrible service of ignoring customers.

CVS ERRORS, POOR SERVICE
8/4/2022 - If I could give a rate of ZERO, I would.
It appears your website was recently updated. Your website now has multiple ERRORS in it. My acct now has incorrect information, unrequested changes to my communication preference, and more. Because of these changes and errors, I was NOT notified that an Rx had been refilled and was ready for pick up! I received multiple texts, including today, saying this Rx needed doctor approval, which was a LIE! DO BETTER!
Anyone searching for a Pharmacy, keep searching! You deserve BETTER!
