RE: CVS Pharmacy 6344 Stenton Ave. Phila. Pa Needed medication that was called in by my doctors two times. My husband went to store 3 times after no response to phone. Finally, my doctor gave my husband his cell to give to Pharmacy for them to call him. Once call was made my husband waited 30 minutes before asking status. He was told that they were out of the medicine and would not receive it for 4 days!!!! (This is my second experience with this store not having medication.) It was 7:45pm and he had no time to go to another CVS nor did they offer to transfer the order. On his earlier visit today he witnessed 3 other irate customers who were complaining about poor service! I am going to Walgreens even though CVS is my neighborhood pharmacy!

THE ABSOLUTE WORST

I'm positive that many people would agree, that CVS Pharmacies have been providing a less than standard level of customer service, for quite some time now!! The following problems most likely expand throughout the chain of Pharmacies, and are a common occurrence that many of CVS's loyal customers experience as a result. Staff is underpaid and overworked, Staff hours are cut back to lower payroll expense = increase payroll of exec's & senior mgmt. Shifts are staffed with less employees than are needed/required-which causes more work/more stress/more expense/higher prices/lower morale/unhappy work environment/unfriendly customer-employee interaction, & customer complaints personally directed to corporate. I've been told by staff (at various pharmacies) that these customer complaints result in the staff being reprimanded, as being the cause of customer dissatisfaction with the service received in the pharmacy dept. It seems this assumption has caused more harm than good, because nothing appears to be changing thus far, to improve customer opinions and dissatisfaction with the less than standard customer service they receive, and long lines when picking up their meds at CVS Pharmacy. As I stand in the long lines myself, I hear many customers speak of switching to another pharmacy. The options are limited, since the mom and pop shops are being pushed out, unable to compete with the corporate insanity!! (edited)

Now I understand why people dislike CVS. I have terrible experience with the cashier at 8495 US Highway 1, Vero Beach, FL 32967. The most rudeness cashier i have encountered in my life. I have to walk out and go to different store to avoid any problem. Not sure what happened to this "lady" this particular day but hopefully it s only one time that she acted so rude to everyone. Anyway fortunately there are still other store we can go to.

Date is inaccurate. As it is EVERY single time I need an Rx, or need to speak to the pharmacy about an Rx. Currently, I’ve been on hold over 1.5 hours. It will take longer. App is useless to me, as I can’t check rx’s they have on file, like pain meds. They r a zero refill rx, but CVS has 3 new ones sitting there. They have them on file, with a fill date, but it’s not automatic! U HAVE to call to get them to fill it, And calling them is next to impossible. CVS high st w has to be the worst pharmacy in the area! If you have the option, the CVS in target is so much better! But that doesn’t help those with a disability that need a drive thru window. So good luck. My insurance requires me to use CVS, or I would give my local walgreens a shot. ANY other option would be better than CVS, high st w!

Many of my friends and I dislike the fact that CVS runs out of my medications. CVS doesn't even tell me when they are out of the meds when I order it! I thank God that I called the Post Office 1.5 days before I would be out of the drug. It took one entire day of my mother and I calling many other stores until we found a store that does carry my meds that I would DIE without daily taking! Then we had to travel 40 miles to the store that did carry my drug. This has happened several times now. I am going to tell my insurance to again cover me under the great store, Barth's Pharmacy, which I use for all my other meds. I only use CVS for one drug because of my insurance deciding to not cover this medication in any place except the very low quality store, CVS.

I understand CVS needs to give employees a lunch break and fully support that. However I stood in line for 15 minutes before that and had gotten to the counter and provided my name to pickup my medicine. The lady then comes out and says we’re closing and come back later! I should have been given my order, very customer unfriendly in that regard and unreasonable!

Cvs internet service do not work. you can not order either by Rx # or reset your password. there is always an error. You call talk to them and they can not fix it.
