DO NOT USE IT!
I told myself the minute something went wrong in my skin in the SLIGHTEST bit, I’d stop using it..and I meant just that! I don’t have bad acne skin, like whatsoever, minor bumps that blended with my skin but it never made me uncomfortable..EVER! The only thing that made me uncomfortable is having oily skin (not all the time am I bothered by it), dark spots, & blackheads.. I know my skin, I never even really used facial cleansers that much except for charcoal mask to remove blackheads (which works), and a couple others, but I wouldn’t stick with those because I’d just naturally stop due to me feeling like it didn’t do anything. I usually just cleansed my face with water..but I thought I’d just try something different especially with curology claiming it personalizes cream specifically designed for what you’re aiming to tackle on your face..so, for a week of curology it was okay, it didn’t do anything, by the second week, it still didn’t do anything..by the third, I start breaking out REALLY bad on one side of my cheek, my chin, and forehead..and to proceed with something that causes me bad breakouts even tho it says it’s “normal” to experience new breakouts while skin is adjusting, i’d rather not stick around to see it.. Also, it’s not even guaranteed someone’s face will clear up due to the fact it varies and I NEVER had bad acne problems, maybe mild from hormonal changes but then it’d go right back to normal. I’ve experimented with facial cleaners before and haven’t broke out from those. My skin isn’t really sensitive. I’ll go back to what I know..I’d rather save myself now than to see my skin worsen from continuous use of something it reacted to (negatively) and then it becomes too late to reverse it altogether. All I needed was something to tackle blackheads and dark spots..but while trying to rid that—I end up with something ADDED to those which is acne I now have to try getting rid of by doing my original way of just washing with water, and hoping my skin just work itself out. One thing curology DID do was make me grateful for my oily skin, blackheads, and minor dark spots..because this acne is very discomforting, I very much can’t stand it and I am definitely not going to stay using curology and see it worsen so my skin could “adjust” when my skin wasn’t acne prone before ...Curology is not worth it.

Hi MissJay, I'm so sorry you've been unhappy with Curology, I understand how frustrating that must be. It can often take 2-3 months before patients begin to see results with any prescription acne treatment, including Curology. Some do see results earlier, it differs from patient to patient. It seems like you are going through a purging phase. If you'd like, you can read more about purging here: https://curology.com/guides/skincare/purging/ Your Medical Provider is a great source for information, so feel free to message them if you have any questions. With that said, if you do not find that our products are working for you, we completely understand, and you may be better served by an in-person dermatologist. If you need help finding an in-person dermatologist, you can ask your primary care physician or other local healthcare provider for a recommendation, or visit the American Academy of Dermatology site: https://www.aad.org/find-a-derm. We only want what’s best for you! Once again, I'm so sorry, but I hope this helps! 💜 Best, Victoria & The Team @ Curology
