Crate and Barrel has been around forever and is horrible with refunding. I ended up paying for shipping and handling as well as to return the items not to mention it took forever for the useless basket liners to come. They obviously have gotten away with this crappy service for years. The mount of 1 star reviews speak for themselves, so sad.....

Purchased items for a wedding shower- April 6th place order- told item would be shipped to receive between April 13th and 15th. Now find items haven’t even left warehouse but I can’t cancel because it’s in the “ process” of being shipped- their customer service leaves much to be desired- I ended up ordering exact same items on Amazon yesterday and items are arriving today! Crate & Barrel is not like it used to be!!

I placed an order off of a wedding registry October 18th. My item continually kept getting back ordered - understandably with the pandemic but most times I wasn't even notified of the new shipping date. I would find out when checking the status myself. Whenever I called I was told the new shipping date was accurate. Last straw was it was suppose to be delivered yesterday and of course wasn't but still shows delivery for yesterday. I just called and after waiting an eternity for someone to answer we are cut off. She does return my call only to tell me it is back ordered again for a few weeks. I canceled my order. Very frustrated and disappointed!!!!

"It will be there the first week of February" "Delivery one week away" This same song and dance has been going on for months now. They string you along with "one week until delivery" so you don't cancel, but they know that the furniture delivery has no date in sight. Honestly with all of the other furniture shops that offer similar pieces, why would anyone shop here? Unless they fix it (I expect they won't), I'll just go down the street to the 10 others just like C&B

To all who may be considering shopping at Crate & Barrel DON'T! SCAM ALERT!!!!!! CRATE & BARREL This company has unethical practices that involve bait n switch tactics which are highly illegal. The customer service is null from the customer service department to the CEO. Apparently, us customers are a bother. Too many meetings? Last I checked any retail store should be on top of every customer issue. Crate & Barrel loves to boast about the Lounge II sofa and ottomans. They are not quality, made in N.C but pure junk. Corners of furniture the fabric just tear at the seams and the frame broke all because of manufacture defect. We bought the Lounge II, two Ottomans, a $450 delivery charge, a Large sheepskin rug, a large area plush rug, and pillows. Charged it all on the new credit we opened with them. When you attempt to get your furniture serviced you will be told " We are having trouble finding a furniture medic and will let you know when we do OR you can accept 50% off your purchase for an instore credit and lose the delivery fee. = Bait n Switch I will be reporting this company to the BBB and the AG of Florida. Please spread the word to any friends and loved ones who may be considering Crate & Barrel. Kris

Ordered a $600 Kitchenaid in Nov 2020 for Christmas. Didn't arrive for the holiday, was backordered until January, and then backordered two more times to mid-April. Just got notified this won't ship until mid-October. THATS A YEAR we've been waiting!!! No apologies, explanation, or discount - how do they run a business like this?!

I order a few chairs from them more than 6 months, I am still waiting for delivery. They promised at maximum it will take 8 weeks, what a liar. I believe that they have financial problem, what they are doing is actually connecting your money to deal with their financial problem, they don’t intention ever deliver. Don’t be a sucker like I am!
