Love their stuff but just went to a store and purchased $1000 worth of dinnerware and had the worst customer service. Mistakes with what they rang up and told me things were in stock when they weren't. No apologies.

Delivery dates are deceptive. If the product is out sourced from a vendor time frame given is * after vendor ships. So that 6-8 day delivery is after it’s shipped. So if it takes two weeks to pull the order those days do not count. Only when it’s shipped does the 6-8 days come into play. I ordered for a birthday party with time to spare, I am 4 days away and the item hasn’t even been picked, let alone shipped. I should have read these reviews before ordering. Buyer beware. Updated- called customer service with concerns of delivery status and they made sure the warehouse was aware of time frame. In the end packages were delivered on time.

I fell in love with the store for its display windows and minimalist merchandise. But when it came to ordering online, that’s where the adventure began. My order was delivered in three separate shipments, with just one item in each, all packed in huge boxes. I waited too long for one of the items, and by the time it arrived, it was no longer relevant.

Ordered curtains and rod and was told that they would arrive to the store for pickup in a week. Curtains came into the store after a week, the end caps for the curtain rod came in another week after that, and another week after that I received an email telling me that the rod would be arriving late and to call them. When I called, I was put on hold for about 25 minutes. They offered to send the rod directly to my home, but I would need to re-order the rod and cancel my first order. I would not give the representative my credit card number over the phone to order the new rod (they don't have a secure method of taking telephone orders), so the rep told me to order the rod online and then call back to get the shipping refunded. At that point, I asked to speak with the manager, was put on hold for another 6 or 7 minutes, and the manager took care of everything and gave me a $50 e-gift card for my trouble. That was nice of the manager to do. The customer rep and manager did everything they were supposed to do, but the overall customer experience was subpar due to the long delays and inability to get me the product in the time promised. Sales rep 4/5, manager 5/5, C&B product availability 1/5.

I purchased some of the most expensive bath towels I've ever purchased in my life from Crate and Barrel. I thought that since they were expensive and from a reputable company they would be superior quality. While they do perform as towel should, these towels are fraying and falling apart at the seams after just over a year. I have Walmart towels that have lasted more than 10 years. Needless to say I will never shop these towels again. I feel I've been ripped off.

I love crate and barrel quality, however before placing an order, it would be respectful to the consumer to inform them of delays of more than a few weeks!! So that if they wanted to choose another item from a registry perhaps … they would be free to do that !!

Update: came today 5/15/2022. Couldn't tell what delivery company, only a white van. Items look fine. Initial comment: Maybe I'll change this rating from 1 star when I get my simple item, place mats I ordered from a registry on 5/3/2022. Just wondering, is Last Mile Carrier a delivery company? In Tracking, listed: 1.Label requested by Shipper 5/5/2022 - Romeoville 2.Package scanned in by Last Mile carrier on 5/7/2022 - BROOKHAVEN (my home town if they mean PA.) Probably not ordering from them again.

Ordered a Lounge II custom couch in December and fully paid for it. Due to Covid, we were told it would take 18 weeks for delivery. March- back ordered, delivery early April. Then mid April, then beginning of May, mid- May. Now beginning of June...Still waiting for delivery. One piece of the couch on the order states “processing” while everything else says in production?? WTH!! I have lost all of my patience. Update- I received my couch the end of June. One of the pieces was of my sectional was incorrectly ordered. The salesman ordered a “chair” vs an “armless chair”. So now I am pending another piece of my sectional that won’t be here until February 2022 per the estimated delivery time given. Delivery team was great. With my numerous calls to Crate and Barrel, they are attempting to make things right. I understand that this is a pandemic, but I think being upfront about production times and issues is better than selling furniture at such high prices and stringing the buyer along.
