I ordered an item (an overpriced kitchen utensil set) from a bridal registry two months in advance to give as a shower gift. It was delayed so many times that the shower has now come and gone, and still no delivery. I ended up buying the exact item from Bed Bath & Beyond - same day delivery - so that I had a gift to give the bride to be.

I have nothing extra to add. Their online existence is a joke! I’m sure they violate basic consumer laws as an e-seller and I’m figuring out how to take legal actions. DONOT buy from them online.

Website refused to load. In two different browsers. In several attempts. Claimed I was a bot. Businesses are supposed to seek out and help on-line shopping. NOT block it you idiiots.

DO NOT ORDER from Crate and Barrell online! You will NEVER get OFF their email list. You will get 5+ emails a day, and you cannot STOP them. I have called, chatted, etc. and I still get them ALL THE TIME. It is so frustrating. Also, if you want to stop them from giving/selling your information to others, you have to go into Privacy and check some box , ... however, who knows if they are stopping selling your info or not. How would I know, even though I did what they told me to do. I wish I could give them LOWER than a ONE STAR rating!

Ordered a $6000 wall unit at C&B- shocked when two right sides arrive for this custom order from Italy. When we refused the accept, the piece sat outside in the rain. Happy to provide pictures. Waiting on C&B to offer a resolution. Since I took the day off I will continue to review all outlets available to me. First representative on the phone asked “what would you like us to do?”

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!! NEVER EVER!!!! NEVER EVER EVER!!!! I wish I could leave them ZERO stars. I ordered a 16 piece place setting of dishes from a friend's wedding registry. They arrived to me in a flimsy box with one side smashed in. I opened the box and they had wrapped each of the pieces in TISSUE paper with no bubble wrap or styrofoam. The dishes were all broken. I wanted to return them, but since it's impossible to get through to them on the phone, I had to attempt to chat with them online. I told online rep that I wanted to return the dishes and explained why. They emailed me 16 Federal Express labels - one for each dish. I used one label and boxed everything up and sent it back to them. Crate and Barrel received everything two days after it was FedEx'd back to them. That was ONE MONTH ago and I still haven't received a refund. You cannot talk to them at their 800 number. The online reps don't seem to understand what you're trying to say. I provided them with my tracking numbers and I'm getting nowhere. They're terrible.

We bought a media console and recevied a package with broken pieces, I reached to the online customer service for replacing the console, they are really impatient, and before we figured out what to do with the remaining heavy parts and pieces, she ran away and end up the conversation, super rude. Be honest, Crate and Barrel 's quality is not good either, the whole furniture is shaking each time we open and close it. I Guess poor service must have poor quality! Done.

Every time we buy products from Crate and Barrel we're incredibly impressed with their products and their shipping. We've bought a number of things from their home that have high quality and we received at an incredibly low price (including champagne glasses and a cake plate). Would recommend to anyone looking to buy kitchenware!
