Crate and BarrelReviews of crateandbarrel.com

I just want to make people aware that when you give your e-mail thinking you are getting a 10% discount off your order, it's really a scam and only goes towards free shipping (which should be free anyhow when I'm spending $150)...beware!

C&B continues to take orders and charge people huge sums for furniture that they know they cannot deliver on time. My order was placed in April 2021 has been delayed over 5 times. Now estimated for early December but the date literally moves out every month so I have zero confidence that I’ll actually get my furniture and would bet that I get another email telling me my item is delayed until 2022. Will never ever ever (EVER) buy furniture from Crate and Barrel ever again.

I ordered a set of beautiful champagne glasses called "The Edge" for my son and his girlfriend. They were not broken and they were delivered on time. Goodthings.

SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE- Updated: Promises, promises. We will get it there by Friday!. . . . MONDAY EVENING AFTER THE BRIDE AND GROOM ALREADY OPENED ALL THEIR PRESENTS AND HEADED OUT ON THERE HONEYMOON THEIR PACKAGE FINALLY ARRIVED MONDAY!! There it sits on their porch for a week. Never again will I shop here and I warn you against doing so. SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE!! DO NOT order from this company unless you want broken items and a lot of babysitting to get your items in a timely manner. WOW. I am shocked that a company can function so poorly. First, for a bridal shower a pottery bowl and platter were ordered. First time broken, 2nd time broken, 3rd time platter broken. Bowl defective glaze. Finally the shower was 2 days away and we gave her the piece that did survive the last shipping to her and let her decide if she wanted to keep it due to there being a defect in the quality of the glazing. Jump to Today. . I ordered 20 napkin rings On September 19th, now the 29th. . they STILL HAVE NOT SHIPPED!!! I have called the company 2X and they promise me they will make sure they ship and be there for the wedding that is THIS SATURDAY. They wanted to waive my gift box fee for me. . how generous $5.50 on a $90 Order. If only they had to pay me my hourly wage for all the time I have spent on the phone with them. NOTHING BUT HASSLE AND WASTED TIME IF YOU SHOP WITH CRATE & BARREL!!

Absolutely the worst online shopping experience of my life. Do NOT waste your time or give your hard earned funds to this company. Ordered three pieces totaling over $3,500 with them and after months of waiting they canceled the order because $200 was due and they "couldn't get ahold of me".... The $200 that was due was the shipping fee which I was told by the previous rep would be comped for how long the order had taken. Long story short... never again. never never ever. They dont care about you as a customer.

I ordered some kitchen towels, expecting delivery in 3-5 days. I have received an email from Crate and Barrel asking me to tell them how much I liked them, but they still have not actually arrived. They are still on their way after 17 days. They are now in Massachussetts. I'm in Connecticut.

Their stated get it by this date is just worse than even a fortune cookie. Add that to them using fed ex and you have a experience worse than the average war crime. To think I almost bought right from the manufacturer…could of saved myself all this fun.

Item hasn't been delivered in over a month... We ordered an Arlo Dresser for our baby back in July with a delivery timeframe of late august. They got delayed to early september, then they said their truck was too big to make it up to our house so they would send a smaller truck (2 weeks later). Today the smaller truck was supposed to be here by 8am. We finally called to ask they said they didn't load it into the truck since they had a note that they couldn't deliver today. Now they are saying September 30th. I will never EVER buy from this company again.
