If there a way to give you zero rating. I have paid my brother tuition fee and my bank made mistake in paying in wrong currency. The convera tracker say the payment has not been received. Ok, you won't recieve, that's fine. But why your bank still holding up the money, why don't they return it if it's not in a correct currency . Why don't they respond even. I am struggling here everyday. I felt my bank not helping me, but they trying hard to get my money bank. But convera bank is on vocations, they don't bother to respond my bank inquiries. I want my money back. Please help.

They are very good at holding on to your money and not forwarding it to the recipient. Avoid at all costs possible. Even if your university / housing requires payment through convera, find a different way. I have now been waiting for three months for them to return the money, which they were supposedly not able to credit to the recipient.

Terrible experience, employees on the phone do not care about your issues in the slightest, offer empty words of advice and promise Email responses which never arrive.

Stuck on the phone for ages, employees don't know what they are doing and looking at their reviews they are clearly not interested in their employees or their customer interests.

I have been trying to receive money via Convera for nearly 6 months they act as a third party to the small bank I use here in Australia .on 2 separate transaction in 2 different country and about 10 attempts to send the money it falls because of incorrect computer generated application forms and coding .no reply in any emails and when I rang customer services it was a foreign lady who i could barely under stand nore hear whilst a baby was crying at full steam in the back ground .only to be told nothing can be done about it and I hadn't even explained fully .

Do not deal with this company. They take your money and hold on to it, and you are left with late fees and penalties. Pay the Universities direct if you can. Despite multiple support requests over numerous weeks, all confirming they have everything required payment still is not processed many weeks later.

We made a deposit of £5,000 with Kings College London to hold a place for a student. Kings uses Convera to receive and refund deposits. In August we learned that he would not get a place and Kings promised to refund the deposit. It is now 6 months later and we still do not have the deposit. We have contacted both Kings and Convera many times without any luck. Convera publishes on its website, and that of the Financial Ombudsman, its email address for complaints, but does not appear to check it. Disappointing and unprofessional to not refund such a large amount of money.

My bank, Credit Union SA advised that they were changing their international payment partner to Convera. I get my UK pension every 4 weeks, I'm in Australia. It was always on time until now. So now UK pensions have evidence they followed the Convera instructions but my bank do not have the money and it is not in my account. Ut was process in UK on 17th January 2024. NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
