Service is lousy. Always ask customers to liaise via online but do not check their email frequently. Operation support team is hopeless. First time using their service and that would be our last too. We were imposed late payment fee just because Convera did not do their job properly. Replied customer 'case closed' yet nothing is being followed up. To be honest, it does not deserve even a star. But i have no choice. People, please avoid using their service, im serious.

Horrible. They say the payment has not been received, even though the money was sent out of your bank account. Then you try to contact them and they do not response. Absolutely horrible service, horrible costumer service, and companies shouldn’t use them at all.

Worst company to use for transfers, grossly incompetent in general, and completely useless as far as customer support goes. Freeze your money for months and give you contradicting information cause the employees don’t seem to know what planet they’re on. Use literally any alternative to save yourself the headache.

Extremely fraudulent company that caused me to miss an application completely because of their mismanagement

Very horrible service, horrible customer service, and no actual help or concern when thousands of dollars are involved. Preferred the platform better when it was Global Pay. I had a payment stalled/ held up for over two weeks and couldn’t contact Convera, kept receiving generic and repetitive emails that lacked human feeling and seemed very automated. Had to remain on the phone for literally two hours before someone came to the line and was able to assist me and forward my funds to the university. I really wish universities would steer clear away from this option as it’s frustrating and such a turn off

Most useless and inconvenient platform to exist. I am paying my tuition fees from abroad, therefore, Convera generates a quota for me to follow instructions to send the money. Firstly you can’t send you money to Convera DIRECTLY it has to pass by an intermediary bank. The intermediary bank isn’t involved with Convera, meaning, there’s ABSOLUTELY NO communication between the intermediary and beneficiary bank. This doesn’t sound bad until your money gets stuck at the intermediary and both your bank and Convera have no clue where your £10,000 are. I reached out to Convera by mail and would it surprise you if I said there was a great lack of communication. I proceeded to then call them… Their client services teams is not only RUDE but also so USELESS. I thought maybe if no one answered my queries by mail someone would by call. LOL no, the calls were the same as having a conversation with air. In conclusion would I recommend this platform ? NO unless you’re looking to lose your money and your time then yeah.

Still waiting for a refund from hull uni fees that should have been made weeks ago. This is a significant sum and I have had no information or explanation from these people. I would strongly suggest any potential users of this company look elsewhere. OK, so to add more - Convera say Hull have not refunded them (they did, on October 21st) so I still have no idea when I will get my cash - or even any idea where that cash actually is. So again, whatever you do - STAY AWAY from these people. I am also beginning to think that doing an MSc at Hull was a bad move after all this messing around, not to mention needing the cash to live.
