There were payment glitches on students.convera dot com that the Convera website only showed one transaction (i.e. the 4th payment attempt) was succesful (after the first 3 payment attempts did not go through), but my credit cards showed that actually the 2nd & 4th payment attempts were successful. I sent the details to their customer service webpage a few times explaining the details with attachments and requested for refund for the duplicated payment. But far I only received automated email replies with ticket numbers without any response or resolution from them!

Just like these people. I made a payment through Convera to my student accommodation. Worst decision ever. They have received my money but won’t send it to my institution. It is stuck in the review. They just tell me to fill inquiry forms. I’ve done that 10 times already and they don’t solve the problem. They don’t help me. Awful customer service. I’ve called them too and they’re not able to help me. I’ve lost a crazy amount of money. I’m extremely upset Update: After more than a month sending inquiries, emails and calls, they have finally solved the problem and sent the money to the institution. I wish they had been more transparent and quicker. I will still be scared and hesitant to pay through Convera again specially because their client service is not efficient.

Porque no le puedo dar cero estrella.. hicimos el pago para Reino Unido para universidad de mi hija. Emails y emails escritos y siempre contestan lo mismo. Han recibí el dinero pero no lo pasan a la residencia. No dan la cara y mi hija se va en septiembre y no tiene seguro la residencia habiéndola pagado por estos falsantes…con mucha antelación. No recomendable. No utilizar esta plataforma

If I could give this organization a zero or minus ten I would. I read the reviews on here and I wish the financial staff at universities would do the same before deciding to do business with Convera. I made a payment for my brother to a university in PA. Unfortunately, he could not attend. He requested a refund be made back to me and the school claimed they could not refund the money back to the card that was originally used to make the payment. Enter Convera... Convera was supposed to make the payment in May 2024. It is July 24, 2024 and we have not received the payment. Convera sent several emails saying they need my bank statement to verify my account number. I sent the bank statement each time. Then they claimed that the routing number was not visible on the bank statement (which is a lie...) so I sent an image of a voided check. I called my bank several times and I was told that no other attempt at payment was made after the first attempt which they had used the wrong routing number. Right now, I am starting to believe that Convera may be running a scheme where they sit on people's funds and accrue interest on it for their own gain. If I made business decisions at any company, I would never make the decision to work with Convera. I am currently looking for a regulatory body to report them to. If any one knows of such please indicate in the review. Thank you!

I worked for a large company as a freelance designer who I invoiced via Candex (another inconvenient company) and the invoice was paid by PVH. Candex “paid me” PVH’s payment via their platform, but for some reason I eventually received emails from Convera confirming that my payment had been sent enclosed with a payment tracking number that did not work. I had no way of tracking my payment, and the payment NEVER showed up in my bank account. I’ve emailed and called to no avail. It has been over the 3 day process period, and I still have nothing. My bank has no sight of any incoming payment, and at this point I just really feel scammed. Seeing so many other horror stories involving this company with similar issues is completely unsettling. I will do my best to take this issue to courts and I have no problem ensuing any legal proceedings necessary to ensure that I am paid properly!!!!!!!!!!!

To say that I am extremely disappointed with Convera's service is to say nothing. For over two years, I've struggled to resolve a blocked transaction for my tuition fees due to Russian sanctions. Despite providing all necessary documents, emails, bills, including OFAC and OFSI licenses, that literally say that my funds must be unblocked, Convera has been unresponsive and repeatedly closed my cases after each of their response without further explanation. No guidance on further steps. No desire to help. No name of the manager who is in charge of my case in two years. I have dealt with Daniel Gunn at Convera for approximately 6 years at least and have found the service that he provides on behalf on Convera to be exceptional. The timely responses we receive and customer support are second to none - I personally wouldn’t go anywhere else for our overseas payments.

I've been waiting for almost two months now for the first of two disbursements from my education loan through Convera Payments, and I'm beyond frustrated. As an international student, not having these funds on time is incredibly stressful. I've reached out to customer service multiple times, but all I get are vague assurances with no real progress. I'm not alone in this struggle—there are plenty of reviews on Trustpilot from others going through the same thing. It's clear that this isn't just a one-off issue, but a recurring problem. Convera Payments really needs to get their act together. Reliable and timely access to funds is essential, and right now, they are failing their customers. I can't recommend them to anyone needing financial support for their education.
