Andrew and Dmitry did an excellent job. I have no problem with the packing and moving. Estimates should be closer to actual price. Feels unfair to upcharge once on sight.

The team took their time and carefully wrapped my belongings. They checked with me to ensure my happiness with the process. They were diligent and thoughtful in their efforts...I have no complaints!!!

We called to get a quote for a move from NJ to NC, and they provided an overinflated quote (a differential of $3K) compared to at least two other quotes we had received for our 2-bedroom 1,100-sq ft apartment. They were incredibly rude when we said we weren't satisfied with the quote and proceeded to tell us that we "wasted their time" for an hour. The worst customer service we've ever experienced, and we are so happy we're not doing business with them! I'm not one to typically leave bad reviews, but wow, they are so unprofessional. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Absolutely horrific experience. My Move: Atlanta to NYC How it was moved: Coastal offloaded my furniture and items to 2 other moving companies. They don't have their own trucks, they are in fact a "broker" (which they lied about). Cost: I was looking for a good deal and the good deal ended up costing MORE than if I had just hired a private mover with their own trucks. Quality / Condition: Every single one of my boxes was mangled. Glasses were broken. Clothes destroyed. --> and I quote: "You should have gotten better boxes". Don't. Even. Consider. This. Company. For. Your. Move.

Costal Moving only contracts you up with other moving companies. You will more than likely pay much more than the first quote. The initial load up was fine. The movers did try to add a long walking distance fee to the initial move. I had a tracker on my belongs and saw that our stuff sat in a random warehouse for over a week. When second the moving truck finally arrived (rather late in the evening) my belonging were crammed into a Penski truck with serval other people's belongings. The movers worked hard but, kept asking me what items belonged to me. They had the order for deliveries mixed up and had to unload another persons furniture in my drive way before getting to mine. I had to find my mattress mixed up with someone else's furniture. The movers I was set up with also said I could only pay in cash, money order, or Zelle which felt rather shady. I initially tried to pay with Venmo, but Venmo had issues because it looked like a scam. A few of our things were damaged and broken during the move as well.

Syed and his team did a great job with the packing of my things with care. They work with a lot of focus. They used paper and then rapped with plastic. I feel there will be no damage during transport. They were very polite and patient.

Mike's empathy and genuine concern for the customer's best interests and welfare are remarkable and especially valuable to an infirm senior citizen like myself (72). He explains pricing clearly and effectively, and safeguards my belongings like he would his own. Due to Mike's organizational and management skills, this is the best experience I've ever had in moving. He took the stress out of the process, which is a huge accomplishment in itself. Out of 10 stars, Mike should get 100.
