Coastal Moving ServicesReviews of coastalmovingservices.com

The guys who came to the house were very professional and helpful. They really made this move super easy. I would highly recommend this company!

My movers were fast, courteous, and professional

I was warned that moving companies would try and scam me. But I foolishly believed Clark Gibson (561) 739-1594 Relocation Specialist Coastal Moving Services (888) 316-8329 Ext. 162 when he quoted me the initial estimate. I was told my contract included everything and the amount of boxes was appropriate for my 355 square feet studio apartment. I even called the company customer service department three times to clarify cost. After having to pay four thousand dollars more they promised excellent, complete stress free service. More lies It was a nightmare experience. Lies. No transparency. Extremely poor packing. Broken treasured items. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Scammers. The Florida Attorney General will receive a report as soon as possible. These people must be investigated by a regulatory agency.

Abdel and his crew members were very helpful. And even helped me boxed some items that I did not box very well. Would recommend. Great meeting them.

COASTAL MOVING SERVICES IS A SCAM BROKER. DO NOT TRUST THEM. They secured my business for a move from Seattle to LA with a quote of $5,953, promising professional packing. Instead, they took my money and sold my contract to a rogue carrier that systematically extorted me.  Once my possessions were loaded, the nightmare began. They called demanding more money, lying that my items took up extra space. When I demanded photographic proof, they couldn't provide any. I paid extra twice under pressure. When they demanded money a third time, I refused, and they backed down immediately—proving the fees were completely fabricated. To evade consumer protection laws and credit card chargebacks, they forced me to use Zelle and direct deposit to a private, personal bank account. In total, they extorted $10,000 for a $5,953 quote.  It got worse on delivery day. The driver held my items hostage, refusing to unload unless I paid a fourth extortion fee on the spot. When I refused, the driver literally drove away with all my belongings. Dispatch later claimed it was a "mistake," but forced me to wait several days for redelivery.  When they finally brought my things back, the packing they did was a joke—everything they packed was completely destroyed or missing. They completely lost a 40-inch mirror and a large suitcase containing $4,285 worth of my clothing and valuables (including 12 new dresses, premium skincare, and handmade accessories). Everything else arrived completely smashed or ruined, including my $1,154 floor lamp, a handmade felt lamp from Iran, and custom wall sculptures, totaling $6,849.32 in property damage.  Coastal acts as a front for an organized ring. They take zero accountability for the criminal carriers they hire to hold your life hostage and destroy your property. Avoid this broker at all costs.

Safe ship helped with my move from Bay Area to Houston Tx. They made sure there was accurate inventory of all the boxes. They were extra careful with the delicate items and very professional. Job No 26303505

Absolutely wonderful service! Was very careful with my items and would recommend if you are looking for a Mover in the future. Thanks Rapid Express and Costal

They misrepresented how the move is done. Horrible service.
