The dirtiest hospital we’ve ever been in. As we were placed in an ER room while…
As we were placed in an ER room while experiencing breathing issues, the room across from us had a 150 lb Afghan type dog with an absurd red I’ll fitting belt, long hair to the ground… disgusting. Also observed floors, walls, filthy, trash on floors and the sink in our room didn’t work for staff? Dr was thorough staff seemed good but conditions were disgusting. Will definitely try a different hospital if we feel we can safely add 20 minutes to our emergency vs risking these conditions.

Cleveland Clinic Hires Bad Doctors
The Cleveland Clinic is not the great hospital it is touted to be. Many of the doctors are limited in their knowledge and expertise. I visited Dr. Rebecca Kuenzler recently. She let a third year medical student conduct the entire exam. She didn't listen to my concerns and multiple times she contradicted former doctors and specialists. I suffered a spinal cord injury many years ago that left me unable to feel in multiple major areas of my body. She told me I didn't have a spinal cord injury. That was the foundation of my initial injury. I couldn't walk, move my legs or control my body after the injury, due to the spinal cord injury. She then proceeded to write that incorrect assessment into my medical chart, clueless to my medical history. She contradicted experts, based on her limited knowledge and exposure. She didn't listen and negated all of my concerns. When doctors write things in your chart that are false, it impacts all future treatment. She didn't examine my body, despite my expression of muscle wasting and loss that has been increasing due to failure of proper diagnosis and treatments, such as hers. She is a wait and see, not a proactive, problem finder. She didn't care or listen.

Cleveland clinic Parkland, STAY AWAY
Made an appointment over the phone
Get to place there is no appointment on their system
Go through the whole rigamole of them taking all my details, then they tell me the doctor is I was going to see Gilot; don’t do shoulders!
What was the point of making an appointment????
Then she said you want to see an assistant?
What’s point if that????
Then receptionist said next appointment is next week!!!
I made an appointment for today at 4pm.
Very cheesed off with them.
I said NO, forget it!!!

My experience with Cleveland Clinic was…
My experience with Cleveland Clinic was incredibly frustrating from start to finish. What should have been a straightforward process turned into weeks of confusion, unanswered calls, and zero accountability. It honestly felt like no department communicates with another—every time I reached out, I got a different answer or was transferred endlessly with no resolution.
Scheduling was a nightmare. Even after providing all required information, I still had trouble getting a clear appointment confirmation. When I finally did get through, the staff seemed rushed and uninterested, like they were just trying to get me off the phone rather than actually help.
Billing made things even worse. I received charges that were never properly explained, and trying to dispute them felt impossible. No one could give a straight answer, and it seemed like I was expected to just accept whatever they billed.
Overall, the system feels disorganized, impersonal, and more focused on money than patient care—something many other reviewers have also complained about, including poor communication and unexpected costs.
Definitely not what you’d expect from such a well-known institution. I would not recommend.

Cleveland clinic saved my life & my mother's too!
My experience has been very good with Cleveland clinic! Recently my mother was hospitalized due to a heart attack and transferred to a local hospital that refused stent procedure and would only do open heart bypass,so we transferred her to Cleveland and they were able to do a tricky stent without open heart surgery!
Thank you to all the nurses,And the surgeon who kept an 84 Year old woman from open heart surgery and allowed her to celebrate 🥳 her Birthday today with family!
Greatful in Indiana 💝
They assisted a cardiologist where I live and insurance was in network, guided him through opening a failed bypass graft!

Hope You're not in a hurry to receive care
I liked the idea of all of my doctors being able to have instant access to my records. I have been going to them for 2 years. I had a painful gastro problem in January 2025. They couldn't see me until July and that was with a PA. I never saw the doctor. He popped in to introduce himself right before he did my colonoscopy and endo scopy. I have osteoporosis. Through bloodwork my PTH was very high. I needed to see an endocrinologist.I called last week, April 2026, and they could not see me until December of 2026. Can't get in with my primary care until July 2026. I went outside of Cleveland Clinic doctors, but someone that took my insurance. I am seeing an endocrinologist tomorrow.
They also seem to have a call station that covers all the doctors. You never get to actually talk to the office. The call station schedules everything. If you have a question, you send a message. You're basically texting. I have asked that they call me and they don't. They message you.
As I need a specialist, I will find a new one out of the Cleveland clinic network. I deserve better care.

Misdiagnosis (and the complaints team don't care)
I had a very disappointing experience with a Consultant Dermatologist at Cleveland Clinic London. I attended with a clear history of suspected metal allergy (family history, consistent reactions, and prior self-management), but my concerns were dismissed without examination or referral for testing.
I was told I was “too young” to have certain allergies and definitively informed I did not have a titanium allergy. No investigation was carried out, despite patch testing being available.
I later sought a second opinion elsewhere, where patch testing confirmed allergies to nickel, chromate, and titanium—directly contradicting what I had been told.
Beyond the clinical issue, the consultation felt dismissive and assumption-driven. There were repeated incorrect assumptions about my medical history and circumstances, and my concerns were not properly listened to or taken seriously.
Given that titanium is widely used in medical implants, being incorrectly reassured in this way could have serious implications.
Overall, this experience fell well below expectations and resulted in delayed diagnosis and additional private expense to obtain appropriate care.

Face/neck lift disaster
I had a face/neck lift Aug. 7th, 2024. Doctor Zins, who is a highly esteemed plastic surgeon was in charge of my surgery. BIGGEST regret in my life! A yr and a half later and Im still suffering from the mess he made of me. My submandibular gland is swollen, which happened a short while after surgery, yet Zins says it was not caused by surgery. I look like I have a goiter on the side of my neck! I still have a feeling of being strangled from the inside out bc my neck bands were pulled so tight. Yet my jowls are falling already. I have constant pain in the base of my skull and the perimeter of my skull is STILL numb, as are my ears. I look like crap! But even worse, I FEEL like crap. I have not had a sound nights sleep since my surgery. Ive seen more than a few doctors and the only one who offered to help me gave me a scrip for gabapentin and made an appt for a nerve block in my head to stop the pain. Some of the doctors I saw offered to inject botox into my neck bands to hopefully ease up the feeling of being strangled. I appreciated it all BUT I DID NOT get this surgery thinking the outcome would be botox and meds and nerve blocks. Zins offered to do a revision but told me if he shaved the submandibular glands that there could be a lot of bleeding and said that surgery has a high morbidity rate. Are you KIDDING me? YOU or your fellow or assistants who YOU ALLOWED to work on me, so really its ALL ON YOU DOCTOR ZINS..Youve probably taken more than a few yrs off my life. NO WAY would I EVER let this man touch me again! He's made a lot of face lift patients very happy. Like I said he's highly esteemed..but he screwed me up..so I cant exactly praise the work he does. My husband and I went to ombudsman at Clinic and the lady assigned to us told me they were negotiating on either a revision (I SAID IT LOUD AND CLEAR..NO WAY) or the $13,800 we paid for the mess! In the end they decided we get NOTHING! I SERIOUSLY THINK THE PATIENT GOING TO OMBUDSMAN SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE NEGOTIATING. Because im sure some of these doctors stick together like glue when another 1 is lying, so the negotiating will go their way. This doctor lied to me right from the start. We've left the clinic. That they choose to protect a surgeon who ruined my life is beyond my comprehension. BEWARE if you go to plastic surgery! PS calander dates do not even go bk to 2024 so I had to use 2025.
