Same Problems Persist After More Than 20 Years!!!
More than 20 years ago, I had so many problems with Cigna, that I paid extra to have my employer switch me to Blue Cross. They kept losing information and would not work well with the VA. The problems persist. The State of Colorado gets good rates for low-income permanent residents from Cigna, so I (myself) set up an account for my mother-in-law last year and completed all the forms to have both my wife and I as primary guardians, viewers, and decision-makers on the account. After a few months, Cigna started telling me that I do not have access, then later my wife lost access. My mother-in-law is currently out of the country (China), and even SHE has lost access to her account!!! This means that she no longer has medical coverage, because she could not renew within the allotted time. To make matters worse, it appears that their custom service calls all go to India. ??? It is my opinion that Cigna is still worthless as an insurance company, so I continue to STRONGLY RECOMMEND that people avoid this company at all costs!!!

Hi Eric. I'd like to look into the cancellation of your mother in law's plan benefits. Please email me at [email protected] and I can begin researching this for your family. -CM
