I have had only good experiences with Chinese Laundry. The quality of their shoes for the price is hard to beat. Their website is fun, functional, and easy to use. I have had no issues with ordering, exchanging and/or returning items.

These shoes, which in the industry are labeled "pageant" shoes make any womens legs look long, svelte and sleek. The rest of the issue is the pain on the balls of your feet. I am in agony every step of the way. Could Chinese Laundry develop a padding system in the ball or the whole of the footpad to make the long walk pageant girls must perform without pain. I just don't understand. I would pay more for comfort. Let me know. I continue to use my beautiful pageant shoes but the smile is really pain in disguise!!!!

Ordered 2 pairs of shoes in the same size - 1 fit like a glove; others too small . . . but this happens often because of different style, manufacturer, etc. . . so not citing this as a concern. I was quickly notified via email with confirmation of return and feel it is being handled in a timely manner.

there was a random screw In the sole of my boot... I was walking and noticed that something was not right at the arch of my foot but brushed it off. I got home and took my shoe off and looked to see what it was, and there was a screw sitting horizontal at the arch of my foot. luckily it didn't hurt me, and I was able to take it out.
