Making homemade dog food
I have just started making my dogs food and my vet recommended Chi Dog supplements for balanced nutrition. I had some questions about how to store the products and prepare the provided recipes and a vet tech got back to me quickly with all the info required! My pug K-town is doing so much better on his Chi Dog homemade recipe!

No longer a picky eater
Cleared up the skin of a very challenging case. Part of the overall Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine toolkit to address severe allergies in a dog. Also used herbal meds. Client and dog both very pleased with the results. The dog honestly loves the food and he used to be very picky.

My dog loves this
My dog loves this. I couldn't get her to eat Dr. Harvey's or Medicus Vet kidney, but she gobbles this down. So thankful you reformulate the recipe without peas, which she is allergic to.
Response from Chi DogApr 17, 2025
Hi, Thank you so much! We're thrilled to hear your dog is loving the food and that the pea-free recipe is working well for her. We're happy to be part of her journey! Thank you, The Chi Dog Team

Just started this food for my dog with…
Just started this food for my dog with itch. I haven’t used it long enough to know if it will work. The product is very fresh and my dog had no issue transitioning from raw to this lightly cooked food. Packaging is easy to work with. Shipping has been perfect and it arrives fully frozen. Customer service excellent. The only negative is I’m not sure it’s enough food ( each serving ) for My dog who’s active and lean .. I mentioned this to customer service and they are working with me.
Response from Chi DogApr 17, 2025
Hi, Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad to hear your dog transitioned well and that you’re happy with the quality and service. We’ll continue working with you to ensure the portion size meets your dog’s needs. Let us know if you have further questions or concerns. Thank you, The Chi Dog Team

This company was recommended by a vet…
This company was recommended by a vet who has studied nutrition for dogs (sadly not something most vets have time to do) and the vet who owns and runs the company did a consult with me to help me figure out the right food to start with. The customer service has also been great and my dog has less allergy symptoms and no GI issues (finally - long road to get here) on this food.
Response from Chi DogApr 9, 2025
