With little dogs like Yorkies, it’s also pretty common for them to suddenly get selective — sometimes it’s the temperature, smell, or even just wanting a little variety. A few tips that often help: Thaw in the fridge and then warm gently (just lukewarm). If microwaving, do very short bursts and stir well so there are no hot spots or texture changes. Try adding a tiny splash of warm water and mixing it in to boost aroma. If he’s being picky, start with a small amount as a topper mixed into his current food, then gradually increase. Keep opened/thawed food refrigerated and use within the recommended time window — some pups won’t eat it if it’s been sitting too long.
