I had a wonderful experience ordering from chicsew! They have so many beautiful and unique dresses in fabulous designs and gorgeous designs, I had a hard time narrowing it down to just one. Not only did my dress surpass my expectations, but the free custom sizing made the dress fit me to perfection, like it was made for me! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

I sent my bridesmaids to ChicSew and they loved the dresses!!! My 13 year old wasn't a bridesmaid but still wanted a dress as the Mistress of Ceremonies. I ordered her dress and then she had a growth spurt!!! She has breasts, hips and a butt all of a sudden!! (She's growing so fast!) Chicsew was awesome about working with me on the options available (Thank God I ordered a size 14 initially - so please pay attention to the refund/ exchange policy). All I can say is measure, measure, measure BEFORE you order and be careful when ordering for growing teenagers!!! I love this site and CABERNET was exactly the color I wanted. I did order swatches of all the burgundy colors first... so take advantage of that too!

Horrible company

I recently purchased a dress from Chicsew and while there were some positives, overall, I was disappointed with the quality and craftsmanship. The dress looks nice and the color is lovely, just as advertised. Moving onto the material, fabric is quite thick, which gives the dress a good structure, though it might be a bit heavier than expected. However, there were quite a few cons. Zipper keeps getting stuck, making it very difficult to zip up. This is quite frustrating and makes me worry that the zipper might break on the special day. Furthermore, one of the spaghetti straps snapped off the first time I tried the dress on. This is very disappointing and means I now have to pay for alterations out of pocket. Lastly, the clothing tag was sewn on the front of the dress, rather than on the back as is standard. This is a minor issue, but still, it seems like a very strange idea or a careless mistake. Overall, while the dress is visually appealing, the quality issues make it hard to recommend. I hope you will address these concerns in the future, as their designs do have potential.
