There was too much work for check out. It didn't recognize my address and then it forced me to use gpay which is fine but now my old address is on the package not the one I put in that I live at. I really need this dress to come to my house I have a wedding in a few weeks to attend and its annoying. I hope the email is sent will have it mailed ti my proper address

I thought, I had the right size, but that wasn’t the case. Here in US I’m a size 12. Unfortunately per this chicsew I’m using a bigger size than I originally thought, which put my self’s team down because I have lost over 80 pounds and it doesn’t show with this dress.

I recently purchased a dress from Chicsew and while there were some positives, overall, I was disappointed with the quality and craftsmanship. The dress looks nice and the color is lovely, just as advertised. Moving onto the material, fabric is quite thick, which gives the dress a good structure, though it might be a bit heavier than expected. However, there were quite a few cons. Zipper keeps getting stuck, making it very difficult to zip up. This is quite frustrating and makes me worry that the zipper might break on the special day. Furthermore, one of the spaghetti straps snapped off the first time I tried the dress on. This is very disappointing and means I now have to pay for alterations out of pocket. Lastly, the clothing tag was sewn on the front of the dress, rather than on the back as is standard. This is a minor issue, but still, it seems like a very strange idea or a careless mistake. Overall, while the dress is visually appealing, the quality issues make it hard to recommend. I hope you will address these concerns in the future, as their designs do have potential.

The dresses themselves were absolutely beautiful for the purpose needed however, they did not hold up with the alterations at all. Between the alternations and the dress, everything started falling apart the more we were in the dress.

Dress needed substantial altering. One of the sleeves had to be completely removed because it was too small. THE DRESS FITS according to my measurements (I used the sizing guidelines on the site) but it needed a professional touch to make it look more flattering because an entire sleeve had to be removed. Though a lovely dress, it required additional alterations that were not anticipated because it was designed to have two sleeves but ONE SLEEVE WAS TOO SMALL FOR ITS INTENDED PURPOSE (fitting over my arm). Again, I’m emphasizing the dress fits because the seller’s response to my review implies that I’m not actually a size 4. That’s not the issue. I am a size 4 and I acknowledged in my original review that the dress fits according to my measurements. Also, it arrived rolled up in plastic…For the amount of money I paid there’s no reason to justify such careless packaging.

The dress is not true to size the whole wedding party dresses have to be altered and your policy to get dresses altered is too short

I find their return policy unfair. For my wedding, 3 of my bridesmaids ordered from their site and I received a call from one who ordered a plus size dress and she told me that she does not have the option to receive a refund if needed. I find that to be very discriminatory because everyone else can receive a refund but her just because she is bigger? I don't understand why a company can't resale a bigger size as if there aren't other plus size women in this world (especially if there aren't alterations being requested). For fairness and equality, I believe that plus size women should have the same rights to return a dress just like standard size women. I ask that the company review and consider to change that rule because it's not right. Thank you!
