This company offers very little, if any, customer service. The App does not allow appropriate use of Autoship and other aspects of ordering products. You can only message this company for help if you have a current order number.

Packaging is awful cramed 2 30lb bags…
Packaging is awfully cramed 2 30lb bags of dog food in one box! The box comes resealed from FedEx and the bags destroyed leaking from poor shipping ripped bags this is the third time I have complained! Dont put in bags in one box they weigh too much how dumb can shipping be! Had to wait weeks for my money back after FedEx returned and still waiting my third time this year! Why am I waiting it's in transit back to you? Last time took 4weeks for a refund and still no replacement taking forever! Their customer service has gone down hill past few years! Petco.com carries same food without issues and cheaper it's 5minutes from my home they ship it to my store and put the bags in my SUV! I'm done!!!

Yes coupon, no honor
I pay for an order that goes to my sister this past year (monthly). Anytime they send me a coupon, they have aways honored it. Not today. I advised Chewy to remove my address from their mailings since they do not honor coupons they send. Once this is over I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Dismissive and condescending to the point of insult. Made a purchase that was confirmed, and two minutes later was sent a message that my order was cancelled. No explanation given whatsoever. This is December and the purchase was meant to be a Christmas gift. No way that’s happening now. I regret trying to do business here, and will happily take my money and pet needs to their competitors.

All prices have gone up, some over 30%. Shipping takes for ever.
Their service used to be really good, but no more. The dog food prices have gone up drastically. Their shipping times have gone from 1 day to 4-6 days. Nexgard flea preventative was last June $95 for a package of 6 pills. Now they tried to charge me $126 for the same package - without telling me in advance that the price has gone up by over $30! When I tried to cancel the autoshipment, they lied to me and said it has already been picked up from their warehouse. Chewy.com tracking showed the same, that it had been shipped, but when I checked with Fedex, it showed that only the shipping label had been created - nothing had been picked up yet. It was still at Chewy's warehouse. I don't know why they lied. When I said I don't want it, and that I will just refuse the package or return it and expect a full refund, I was told they won't accept the return! Even if I don't even touch the package, but refuse it and have Fedex bring it back, they said no refund of $126 will be issued because flea preventative is a pharmacy item. When I called again, to a different department, they had no problem stopping the shipment. They even issued a return label for me in case the package can't be stopped and gets delivered. A few times I took a special offer: buy 2 bones and get 1 free. Both times I got the 2 bones I paid for, but not the free bone that was supposed to come. They sent it eventually both times after I called them, but it should have been in the package as the free bone was the only reason I ordered the two. I feel that they are trying to cheat their customers every way possible. I have 11 dogs and I was a good customer. We go through over 50 lb of dog food a week, plus flea, heartworm and other items. I spent thousands at Chewy every year, but no more. It once was a great company, but no more. I'm not ordering anything from them any more.

Prescription medication order cancelled
I ordered prescription medication for my dog and didn't receive it. They never communicate with me in any way. After 8 days I called them to find out they didn't receive confirmation from our vet (as it turned out later it was a lie - our vet didn't receive any request). I asked them to communicate with vet and notify me what happened. Silence. Today, on 15-th day, I called them again and found out that my order was cancelled on 12-th day. There are no words for their customer service and their farmacy department. At least nothing good to say...

Prescription food order cancelled
Chewy delayed and ultimately cancelled my order for vet prescribed high fiber cat food. They send emails saying they "don't worry, we will contact your vet" which is not true. Then they say, your vet didn't respond, again, not true. The they say we aren't allowed to contact your vet? Really, which is it? I'm so incredibly frustrated when all I want to do is get my cats diarrhea cleared up with vet recommended cat food.

Over sending meds and charging unauthorized payments
Around this time last year I was sent a 3 months supply of medication for my dog instead of the 1 month supply we usually receive. putting the price close to $300. I decided it must have been a one time mistake so I didn't call about it. I just skipped the auto ship for the fallowing 2 months. Fast forward to a year later. It is 2 weeks before Christmas and they sent me 3 individual prescription's instead of the 1. Not only that I had two cards on file. One of the cards has not been used in almost a year. The payment automatically comes out of the primary card on file. When I received the 3 orders one was charged to the proper card and the other two were charged to the card that has not been used in a year. When I called Chewy they apologized said they will see what happened and put me on hold. They ended up disconnecting the call after I was on hold for 10 or so minutes. I am curious if this has happened to other people. I almost wonder if they needed to hit yearly sales quotas so they "accidentally" over send prescriptions at the end of the year to hit sales. That is just a speculation. However, I find it interesting that this happened around the same time both times. I will no longer be using chewy for medications.
