Chewy.comReviews of chewy.com

We have always had wonderful experiences with Chewy but this was the most amazing gesture. Our dog, Daisy, passed away last week and we were given a full refund on our unopened food, told to donate to a rescue. What an amazing, kind company. Highly recommend.

We bought a product for our dog who we thought had Lyme disease. It turns out she had cancer of her brain and we sadly had to put her down. I contacted chewy to return the unused product. They refunded me immediately and said to keep the product. They also sent a heartfelt email of condolence. A few days later we received a bouquet of flowers and a card. My wife and I were both touched by the compassion and kindness that you don't typically see in a corporate company. We will definitely be using Chewy for all of our future pet needs.

I called on Sunday to ask if I could return a surgical suit that I bought for my dog and told them he passed away, my money was refunded and was told to donate the surgical suit to charity, which I did, the next day I received a sympathy card and a flower delivery from Jada and the chewy family, I was so grateful for their kindness and caring and tender thoughts in this difficult time. That was an amazing gesture. Debbie Gullota on behalf of my beloved Finley.

We had been getting our dog’s prescription thru Chewy per our Vet’s recommendation (cheaper than they could get it). Shipments always arrived on time and the email reminders were great as well. Our dog had a terminal diagnosis. She passed last week. Like the several reviews I’ve read already; they were excellent with stopping the prescription auto refill, refunding the one we just received, & giving thorough directions of disposing of the current medication that was sent. Also, beyond surprised & grateful for their thoughtfulness in sending a beautiful floral arrangement for our loss. They send out several of these a week it appears. What a company! That kind of customer service is hard to come by these days. Thank you Chewy for your thoughtfulness and caring employees on the phone. We will continue to recommend your company to others! RIP to our baby girl.

My cat passed away this week. I called Chewy to cancel an order of her medication, they gave me a refund and instructions on what to do with the medication if it still arrives. I didn’t once have to talk to a robot or select an option from a menu after calling the customer service number. The women I spoke with (Sarah and Emily, I believe) with both super helpful and sympathetic. Today I got a delivery of beautiful flowers; they were sent by Sarah at Chewy and apologized again for the passing of my cat. It was super unexpected, thoughtful, and sweet of the Chewy team and it really means a lot to my family.

My Chewy purchases have always been delivered quickly and without any signs of damage. After my sweet little dog had to be put down, I phoned customer service to cancel my prescription dog food auto shipments. Sharon, a customer service representative immediately, without any hassle, complied with my request. That said, going above and beyond providing quality customer service, to my surprise, a couple of days later I received a very thoughtful and much appreciated, day brightening, fresh floral arrangement with an attached sympathy card from “Sharon and Chewy”! Wow! Chewy’s compassionate response showed exceptional customer care.

I can’t say enough how beautiful this company is. They take stuff back no worries. They are always helpful. They are quick with their service. Love them!!!! And their customer service people!!

For the past few years, I have gotten Beau’s medication through Chewy.com. It is an extremely easy to maneuver online site. Last week, I reached out to them because I received Beau’s prescription the day he passed away. This company immediately refunded my account and didn’t even want the medication returned. They sent a very sincere letter of condolences and today I received a dozen fresh cut yellow roses along with a sympathy card from them. This company is TOP NOTCH! WOW, what customer service.
