Driver left my boxes… but Chewy showed real customer service.
I had to update this. The company sent me an email of apology, A full refund. I have to admit that was customer care and not something you see these days. As to Chewy the company and customer service good job.
Driver left my boxes in the hallway by the public entrance. Not packed well cans were dented. They put the two heavier items in one box with little tape support and my guess is the box was dropped just inside the door and broken open.

Shipping containers are way to heavy
The products are just as advertised, but Chewy has a real problem with how they package their deliveries. They will stuff as much as they can into one large box, and the last box we ordered was about 35 pound. The poor FedEx guy nearly killed himself getting the box up our front stairs and then dropped the box on his foot. He let out a howl. I couldn't lift the box so I unpacked it on it front porch. Something's gotta change in this model. This event is by far the worst I've seen, but we regularly came get a Chewy box through our front door.

My wife has been buying both dog and…
My wife has been buying both dog and cat food from chewy . She is very happy with the products. We buy both dry and canned wet food. We have three cats and two dogs
I have complaint about the shipping. We had ordered two cat food dry and one dry dog food. They packed 40 lb and 20 lb bags together in one box. They claim to care about the animals they profit from.they obviously could care less about the delivery drivers or customers who have to carry these items. I’m trying to convince my wife to look elsewhere

I have been buying from Chewy
I have been buying from Chewy. Off and on for years.
But my latest experience really makes me think that I should avoid buying from this company.
It USED to be a okay business to order from. My last experience (1day ago) really topped it all.
Not going into a long explanation.they took out the amount for the order six days before they were supposed to fill it. It is not a small amount, of course that causes me problems.
The other complaint I have lately is the packaging . Chewy really must be hard up to save on tape to close the boxes, and no more filler paper etc. to stop the boxes from bouncing around.
The only good experience was the friendly representative, however I guess I have to wait yet to see if the problem has been solved.

FEDEX MESSED UP AGAIN!
Didn't receive my first order from Chewy, though there was a picture showing it was delivered. Raggedy FEDEX delivered to the wrong address, AGAIN! I called before dawn and a professional, cheerful representative Priscilla took my call and accommodated me with a refund. Unfortunately because Chewy only contracts with FedEx for deliveries I will not be ordering from them again. I reside in the same city as FedEx's headquarters. Not only do they deliver to the wrong address' quite often, there is a high FedEx employee theft rate against the local peoples packages that have to rely on FedEx services for a delivery. I so much wanted to be a repeat customer. Thanks again Priscilla, you did a great job!

Chewy's advertising on their site is…
Chewy's advertising on their site is misleading. It indicates on the site that if you start an autoship, you will receive 35% off the first shipment and then 5% thereafter. What they don't tell you is that if you already have an autoship with another product, you are only entitled to 5% on the first autoship of the new product. Amazon gives 15% to all first autoships regardless of other autoships in your account. Come on Chewy tighten up and clarify your advertising

I have had non stop issues with FedEx…
I have had non stop issues with FedEx and Chewy order's , the Only reason I gave a 3 and not a 1 is because Manager I did speak with at Chewy did try , I was supposed to have another mgr. Call the following day when she was off at 2pm never happened, my house is a long ways from road I have many German Shepherds I order for, I am 64 with major back issues, I sent many pictures of order's at hwy in front of sign that said bring to breezeway, my Chewy Label said bring to breezeway but it never happens, I have sent so many pictures to FedEx it's unreal, thing's I have seen driver do unreal , I have proof of also, we all made these companies huge I started with Chewy when they weren't huge and yes in some ways they still try, but on shipping and what a customer has to go through to get there product isn't worth it, I am going to find a local provider for thing's I got from Chewy someone who appreciates my bussiness, they lost a 15,000 year account on dog food about 2 year's ago over this mess and they have lost me on everything today, FedEx could care less from Management on , we make these companies huge and they walk all over us. I do appreciate the one Manager at Chewy for at least trying and helping me to get actual pic that fedex driver took, in front of my neighbors property behind tree's he parked truck so I couldn't see him to run some distance to throw my Chewy box in front of sign, I had told Chewy this I saw him do it but didn't realize he took a pic. A pic not to show sign or how far from my house. I still have order's coming I will take from Chewy but after all received I am done! A pic speaks a 1000 word's the pic the ( Driver ) took backed up everything I told Manager at Chewy, she told me how to find pic.

not happy
Generally, I’ve had great experiences with Chewy. They ship quickly, they resolve issues well, and their prices are almost always competitive. This review is solely about their coupon and discount policy. For Black Friday/Cyber Monday, they had a number of items with a little green banner below that said 20, 30, or 50% off. I shopped carefully and picked out many of these items that my animals would like. It took me a long time because altogether I’m currently responsible for feeding eight animals a day, fosters and ferals included. Initially I picked Chewy for my animals’ needs because they had sent me a $15 off on $50 coupon and every dollar counts, especially when you’re feeding so many. Once I went to check out, I discovered that if I added that coupon it knocked the discounts off of the discounted items that I had carefully picked out. only one or the other worked, but not both. I called Customer Service to see if it was a glitch, but the man I got basically laughed and said “yeah, that’s a common complaint.” I pointed out that there was nothing in the fine print of either the coupon or the discounts on the items that only one or the other could be used, and there was radio silence on the other end of the line. I felt misled. I wasted a lot of time comparison shopping that day, and it ended up being a waste of time since the pricing all changed at check out. I’m really asking Chewy to specify loud and clear if offers cannot be combined. otherwise, it’s essentially a bait and switch. Seems simple, right?
