I placed an order. There was a typo in my address. The caught it and called immediately. I was able to add to my order. Both, the lady who called and Richard who I spoke to when I called back were absolutely perfect. Friendly, patient, courteous and Richard has a get sense of humor. Important in customer care. I had to post this... I ordered my dogs food on Thursday night at 8:00pm.. I got a confirmation by 8:08pm.. there was a e-mail at 11:23pm that the order was shipped.. When I checked my front door at 10am the next day my box was sitting on the door step. I have never had such wonderful services!! People always review things that are bad. I wanted to take a second and tell you that I have never had a bad experience with this co. yet.. thanks again!

I recently bought some cat food from Chewy.com and my cats would not eat it. I called them and they told me to take it to the local animal shelter and they would credit my account. I was shocked...so much as I put a note on my calendar as to remind myself to doublecheck the credit when the statement arrived. Because I have little faith in humanity and could not find the credit I quickly thought I was not given the credit. Little did I know the credit card company had moved the credits from the bottom of the bill to the top. Anyway I called Chewy.com and they were so nice even when I was a little bit disbelieving. We all double checked the billing and I got all my money back. It is nice to be able to believe in a company and Chewy.com surely deserves that from me. They are great.

This is the customer service that I wish every company could live up to. They have so many options in regards to what you need for your pet but if you have an issue with ANYTHING they are just amazing at making things right. Started using them not too long ago and I'm definitely going to continue.

Received a shipment of product that was damaged. I was able to get a hold of someone within two rings. He immediately processed a replacement order to arrive in two days (the next day was Sunday, so it couldn't arrive then). He also put in a note to have the order double checked for damage. Fantastic all the way around! Nice to see some great customer service.

I had ordered a 25.3 pound bag of Natures Variety Limited Edition dog food from Chewy.com. Due to my error, they shipped a variety that my dog cannot eat. When I called the company, they immediately issued me a credit for the order, and placed a new order for the correct item. When I asked about returning the food I could not use, they recommended that I donate it an animal shelter or rescue! This is the first and only commercial company I found that has a heart for the animals they supply. Will I use them again? You bet, they are the only pet food/supply company that I will ever use. I highly recommend them, and would gladly nominate them up for an animal welfare award. These people really do care!

Chewy.com is awesome. I had previously used Amazon, PetFoodDirect, Petmeds, etc... but the prices, shipping and customer service cannot be compared. Even if the price was higher elsewhere, it is usually about a $1 or $2 in difference, which in my opinion was worth giving up as their customer service and shipping are so reliable. I always order cat food in bulk (over $49.99) to save on shipping and they ALWAYS arrive by the 2nd business day. For other online stores who promises the same delivery, they always failed by being a day or two late. I have to follow a strict monthly budget so I need to have my pet food on time or else I'll have to drive to Petsmart and spend the extra gas/money on the same brand. This website have a very good deal on Nylabones ($7 for a large Nylabone) so I would toss that in the order to be included as part of the free shipping. In regard to the customer service, 5 stars are not enough. I never had a complaint mainly because, well, what is there to complaint about if delivery was on time and I get exactly what I ordered? The only time I contact them is if I made a mistake of ordering or forgot to order something and wanted to add it on to the package. Unlike other websites, such as Overstock.com, who require you to cancel the ENTIRE order before it was shipped and start over again, Chewy.com will add it on for you right away as long as the shipment has not been send out. Another thing I love about this company is that they are very understanding. Although you can return your items and they would pay for your shipping (Again, not many company reimburses you for shipping on refund items), Chewy had actually allowed me to keep the items and refunded my money. For example, I purchased a $50 cat tree but my cat decides not to even go near it. Chewy.com refunded my money back and only asked that I donate the cat tree to a local shelter or rescue. Again, which company (Online or instore) does that? If there are any complaints from other customers, I do not know why or what it could possibly be. They are extremely easy to reach if you have any questions (I used the online chatroom and never had to wait longer than 3 seconds for a live person to respond). The only thing I wish they had was Diamond Naturals dry food for dogs (The large 40 lb bag). They do not carry it, which is understandable as most stores and online sites do not have it either.
