Awesome
I heard about them and thought I would try them for my Hills Oral Care. Way faster, way cheaper... The site was easy to use and checkout was clean. What else can you want? I am using them again!

We have used Chewy.com for over a year now, both for high quality wet cat food, as well as prescription diet foods for two of our cats with Urinary and Renal issues, saving us considerable costs vs. through our Veterinarian. Sadly, our one cat, Mama, who was suffering from Renal Disease, had reached the end of the line today and had to be Euthanized (I still water up now as I am writing this). As we no longer needed the prescription k/d for her and only used a few of the 24 cans from our last shipment I called to inquire about a partial refund. To my great amazement they not only refunded me for the remaining cans but they chose to refund us for the entire 24 can shipment! Then they said to go ahead and donate the remaining cans as we saw fit, offering the condolences for our loss. How can anyone complain about that... thanks Chewy!

I started using Chewy when I adopted one of our strays that turned out to have Chronic Kidney Disease. Chewy had the prescription food he needed at a little bit cheaper price than the store in town (and with free shipping on orders over $40 (I think that's about right, it might be $35) which worked well for us because in the beginning we were spending about that much to buy his prescription food (because of the CKD we give him quite a bit of wet food, which obviously... is EXPENSIVE comparatively to dry food --- which he also gets for free feed because without food to munch on he deals with nausea). Since adopting Bernard the whole household has started to consider that perhaps more wet food in the diets of our other cats would be a good idea (to avoid possible kidney or urinary tract issues when they get to his age). When learning about Bernard's health issues and nutritional needs I also did a fair amount of research on cat nutritional needs (in general)... and also realized something maybe a lot of us do when we take the time to research feline nutrition --- which is... CATS ARE OBLIGATE CARNIVORES and need MEAT as their primary food (preferably less than 5% plant stuff (admittedly Bernard cannot follow this because of his kidney problems (meat is high in phosphorus which is great when you have kidneys that work right), but the other cats in the household need MORE meat and LESS plants). We decided to switch the heavy boys in the house to an all wet-food diet, and trying to get as high of a meat content in their food as possible - while also switching the skinny kitties to a low-plant dry food with wet food as a supplement (this might sound strange but I was concerned that the lower calorie content of wet food and lower appetite of the skinny cats would not fair well with them on a strictly wet-food diet). I could find almost no meat-only (or 95%+ meat foods) in the stores around town (I live in a small city)... so I decided that it was time to turn to Chewy for their food as well. I'm so glad I did! The two heavy boys in the house are now on an all wet-food diet which is high in meat. Chewy had a good selection of plant-free wet foods and I'm happy to see it's growing. I was also able to find a dry food for the skinny cats in the house with very little plant stuffs (and meat as the first ingredient!) on Chewy with very little searching (though, of course I searched... just to find the best food for the best price). The meat-only wet food I bought for the other two cats are also loved by the two others who are on mostly dry food (this is awesome because they are very, very picky). (The best thing was being able to find a 95% meat food that's all duck for our cat that's allergic to poultry besides duck... I cannot express how literally impossible it is to find a limited ingredient duck wet food in town --- at least besides prescription diets (which are twice the price!) and how grateful I was to be able to find some on Chewy (and be able to search for Duck as a main ingredient was great!).) I love that they have a great selection and make it (relatively) easy to search for the types of foods you want. I also love that their prices are very competitive compared to the stores in town, and that they offer a selection that would be impossible to find in town. I also have dealt with their customer service a time or two (in the case of canceling an order/item and once when an item was out of stock and they contacted me to ask what I would prefer they did about that part of the order), and the customer service was really respectful and helpful. If anything I would change, it's simply that there are a few brands that don't show up in categories they belong in (namely that searching Limited Ingredients does not show up all of their 95%+ meat (canned) foods even if they are in fact limited ingredient foods) . (And I would love a search criteria for complete foods (as in fitting all the basic requirements for nutrition - so to exclude foods that are intended as an add-on to kibble). Still, I love their service and have been using it for about a year now (using auto-ship I order food and even litter every month through them and love that it arrives at my door in around three days). I've sent them a message a time or two telling them that I really appreciate their selection and prices (and, of course, the kitties do too). Sometimes I even throw treats on my order for my friends who have dogs with a lot of allergies because I know they have a hard time finding treats for their dogs in town because of their health issues (but surprisingly VERY easy to find on Chewy)! I would highly suggest this website/service to anyone who has trouble finding the right foods for their pets or is looking to save even a dollar or three on what they're already buying for their pets.

I've got a couple dented cans here and there, a smushed package or two but they are constantly improving their packaging and I really think any damage responsibility lies with fed ex. I have never had to send anything back or deemed it unusable. The convenance is amazing. I used to drive 20 minutes for specialty food. Now, it comes to my house. It saves time, gas, and usually is delivered within days of ordering. Also, no more trips to the crowded vet waiting room for prescription food or meds. They confirm with the vet and you can order away. I've also food the pricing to be very competitive. I used to be in a buy 12 get one free program at the store but I actually spend less when all expenses are considered. Try it, you won't be sorry.

The orders are set quickly and while it's rare, corrections are extremely easy. They package the order to prevent any items from being crushed. My dog and cat require a special diet. I'm happy to have found chewy.com!!

OMG! TALK ABOUT AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! I CANNOT BELIEVE the unheard of customer service & CLEARLY the most loving company for customers and our furry friends! I rescued (well she rescued me) an 8 year old Doberman, Lexie, 2 weeks ago, she is my 4th Dobie and she was featured on the Sunday local news with the Humane Society...I lost my last Dobie in Feb., and due to physical disability, I had been 100% against taking on a new baby, until I saw her...I felt her through the TV & was at the shelter 10 min before they opened to claim my girl! She was given up due to incontinence which changing her diet to GRAIN FREE and NO "people food" instantly stopped accidents! She also had 3 fatty tumors removed and many teeth removed, she is already loosing weight, she was 105 lbs, and her arthritis is improving with massaging, physical therapy, ice packs and heating pad. I ordered her several packs of grain free treats and (I had not even considered she needs SOFT treats, the hard ones are to hard for her to chew) so when I called customer service (expecting the typical jumping through hoops to return treats) Vicki refunded my card in FULL and I asked "will you send me a return label?" She said "No, we just ask if you would DONATE the treats to the shelter!" NO COMPANY DOES THAT! You guys have a LOYAL customer forever, based on your service to animals and EXCELLENT customer care! WAY TO GO in this "me" society! Sending Heather Heart Hugs & Lovely Lexie LOVE!

A man named victor took my call. I ordered a dog gate online for $85 dollars that I didn't realize needed to be manually drilled into the wall. I didn't have the receipt. the man told me that he will refund me the money, and ask that I donate the item to a shelter so that I can help animals in need. I have never heard of anything like this in such a capitalistic society, I was touched and extremely pleased to learn amazing people still exist, and I will always recommend chewy to all.

Our two cats developed an aversion to the brand of canned food we were feeding them. That left us with two and a half cases of "rejected" food. I called Chewy today to inquire about returning the food. The CSR rep I spoke to credited my account for the full amount of the two unopened cases, then instructed me to take all of the food to our favorite pet shelter as a donation. I have NEVER had such a positive, heartwarming experience and will continue to order from Chewy forever! Everyone is a winner!
