Most horrible experience I've ever had with a company in my life. They sent damaged items. Then I sent them back for a refund. They not only received the items back but then shipped new items even though I said I wanted a refund. So when the new items were sent and they attempted delivery, I refused them. So again, I told them I wanted a refund. A week later, they received the items back at the warehouse. I still never got a refund. I contacted them multiple times, only to be ignored. Then, when I finally told them I would show up at the business and cause trouble, I got a call from an idiot named Shellann or Shelly Ann. I don't know; she must have had marbles in her mouth because I couldn't understand her. She called me late at night, so I called the next day to speak to her and, of course, got the runaround. I ended up just disputing the charge against them for fraud. DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY. They will respond alto this and act like they give a damn but they don't.

I was told they ship within 48 hours of receiving a written prescription and to pay the extra for certified mail to get the Rx to them as soon as possible. I did exactly that, only to find out the pharmacy doesn't count Fridays as a business day so they wouldn't ship until the following Monday (since when did Friday stop being a 'work day'?). Since my dog needed the medication sooner than 10 days later from the point it was written, I canceled and went back to my vet - the cost was only $10 more. Most of the time, orders with Chewy go off without a hitch. Unfortunately, when things do go bad and customer service needs to get involved, it all falls apart. If something arrives damaged, they act as if you have committed a crime. They don't just want 1 or 2 photos. They want photos of the damage, entire product, barcode, shipping label and more. It's a 1-hour phone call to get it replaced. They don't handle promo issues any better. If you get a promo that doesn't work properly, expect them to proclaim that you're lying about receiving it. After sending a screenshot, they review it but fail to ever apologize. Instead, they then claim they didn't send the email. The email shows not only their email address, but the originating IP is their server. They claim the email is a scam. The promo works though; it just takes off the wrong amount. A fake promo code wouldn't work on their website. Still, they keep proclaiming it's a fake email, fake promo code, etc. They offer HALF of the value of the promo code they sent you. It seems like they're sending out bogus promo codes on purpose to lure customers in and then trying to get customers to take lesser discounts to shop there anyway. After all of this mistreatment, I wouldn't place an order even if gave me 50% off. Chewy stocks tanked for a reason and that reason is their customer service. It went from the best in the industry to some of the worst.

Awful, lied to for 3 days that my cats medication was on the way and it wasn’t . She is now out of the med and they claim they need to call the vet when I was told today it was approved!!! Had I known this and not lied to I could have called the vet!! Shame on you Chewy

Chewy exists for convenient and timely delivery. They charge a gross premium approaching 2x the normal cost of food. They are consistently 3-4 days later than promised on deliveries. If they are bad at the one reason they exist they aren't likely to make it much longer. Find a reliable company for your pet needs.

Had an autoship that I cancelled and they shipped it anyway. They promised to pull it back before it shipped, they didn't. They promised to get Fedex to return to sender they didn't. They refused their 100% satisfaction guarantee. Pretty scummy to interact with one of the customer service agents sounded under the influence on the phone call.

Placed order online as a Guest. Order was processed, purchase was made, or so I thought. Received confirmation email and responded to it. Okay. Next day I received another email requiring me to call and confirm address etc. Okay. So I called and was told everything looked good. So okay? No...Get another email next day saying order was canceled. Okay. So I call to find out what happened to the order and was told that the billing address didn't match address on bank card. Huh? Just did a double confirmation yesterday. Okay. So I called back next day and was told yet a different story as to why it was canceled. It was so ridiculous I can't even remember the reason I was given this time. Then the representative said that I should have set up an account instead of ordering as a Guest. Okay. First of all, I have never ordered a thing from chewy. Secondly, it was a one time gift for a friend, so I saw no reason to set up an account. Okay. My bank's App tracks every single transaction made on my account and guess what? THERE IS NO RECORD OF ANY CHEWY TRANSACTION!!!! NONE!!! Okay. So whatever the representative saw on her end isn't what's reflected by my bank. So it's not my bank's fault I'm out $63.00 anymore than it's mine. I would guess that someone at chewy MIGHT possibly know of issues like this because of their recommendation to set up an account instead of using Guest option. Could it possibly be that maybe some of these home based representatives MIGHT be hacking people's accounts? Why is there no record of the transaction? Go figure. You can't make this up.

Received my dog food and was left out in the elements instead of the place with capital letters to be delivered at the covered front door . Had a vertebrae replaced and cannot lift those heavy bags and Noone will be here until Saturday. Contacted customer service and explained. Have spent over 5000 dollars with her company. Her solution. Print out the shipping label and send it back and they will refund the money???? Customer service used to be great. Went downhill fast. Oh BTW found it cheaper on Amazon and they ALWAYS deliver at the front door as specified
